Oh, I meant to say that #4 is my fave. Could you wear the moto to the party and then remove it? With a little more of an impact piece at the neck I think it would be wonderful.

Totally riffing, but a rhinestone cowgirl belt, denim jacket and some sparkly earrings would shout PARTY!
I really like #6. The shoes and topper look great!
I am very late to this party Ingunn, but it you are wanting to casualise and artify (I know it's not really a word), if it were me I would be adding some booties for edge and a sleeveless, drapey, longish assymetrical vest.
Good ideea what Deborah said, but I love your green jacket, too. Love that ensemble, but in April would go some modern heels better. I like those which have some platforms, too, maybe some colored peep toes will be also fab if no colored topper on you. The necklace you wear here I feel a bit dainty. Nowadays would love to see more chunky ones...but have no ideea on brands or make:-((. BTW your Boss(?)dress is beautifull it surely worth the money:-)
Late to chime in here - you look gorgeous in that dress!! The fit is perfection!

I see what you mean about dressing up LBD. IMHO I see more of your style in the outfits with more color and blazer. #2 is the one I like the best for a dressier event, but the personal, fun touch is missing (IMO). I really like Deborah's and Lyn67's suggestions. I like the idea of booties (April is far from summer here! ;-)) and some funkier statement jewellery, if you have. Another topper than a blazer would be better too. Bright colored shoes and clutch would maybe add some edge?

Keep us updated - fun to see how this turns out! Besides, I also need ideas about dressing up LBD
Ingunn, I haven't read all the additional replies but when I saw you mention a "springy floral bomber" I thought that it sure sounded like a really fun addition to your jacket wardrobe and maybe a great way to accessorize this dress. I think I'd have to try it!
I want an Ingunn paper doll, designed by AJ! Pose her in the Norwegian cityscapes, having a flatbread sandwich at an outdoor cafe in springtime, walking to class, wearing her breton from Paris to take her daughter to school! Collect all Ingunn's capsules so you can dress her for any occasion! And don't forget to top it all off with her red coat!

JulieJohn, you crack me up!

I hardly don't know what to say, fabbers - you make my heart sing and my head spin with all your wonderful suggestions. I am very torn right now, because I would like to try everyhing you suggest. Not all of the ideas are possible to pull off without at least a little shopping, but why not, I'm not invited to parties all that often, and I want to look like I'm having FUN!

The yarn has arrived, and I've started knitting the shrug. I have an off-white chunky necklace that could work as a "statement". How do you like the colors? It *is* quite Basset's Licorice, I think. The photo quality is not very good, but it is dark now, sorry about that!

I still love the idea of a floral topper, but I haven't yet seen one I like here. In regards of colored shoes - I saw glorious patent pumps in several yummy colors today, so that could be an option. I will keep on looking for a cropped jacket, but my preferred option is to make do with what I already have.
