I'm going to go with an 8. Most days I'm very happy with my look. And compared to a few years ago, I have gotten much more adventurous with trends. One area I need to work on is breaking out of denim as my go to staple. 6 out of 7 days I wear jeans. I'm trying to vary that up more with dresses and pants.

I'm a 5. I understand most of the basic principles now (PPL, shirt lengths for skirts vs trousers) but waffle with a consistent style. One minute I'm Bohemian, the next say preppy. Once I can stick to one style I think I'll move up to a 10 fast. I;m just having a tough time identifying what one style I want to have.

I'd say realistically I'd be at a 5.

I'm the first to admit that I *really* struggle with what I see in the mirror vs reality of what others see and this sometimes leads me astray. And I am still struggling with the notion of fit and making sure I hide my flaws and highlight my assets.
However..... given that I was probably about a 3 before I started, I can see that I am making some progress. Hopefully this time next year I'll be about a 7!

I'm like Kate and Mo. I think I know just enough to be dangerous. (-: I'd say a 7, sometimes a 9. Hooray, Taylor, on the 10.

Since joining YLF, I am definitely a 9 and well on my way to evolving into a 10. I know EXACTLY what my vibe/style is. No doubt about it. What a feeling!

WOOHOO!

It depends... I'd say a 5 since my style is pretty safe.

8 most days and sometimes 9. I also have 7s like today, when I just wasn't "feelin' it" this morning

Great idea, QM! Overall, I'm giving myself a 4.5. There's a long way to go on my journey. I'm going to take the liberty of rating my sister, too (then I'll go back and read everyone's responses to see if she has already chimed in). April is a 10, although she might feel more comfortable with a 9.5. There are so many layers and so much more understanding to be had!

I'm a solid 6. I've come a long way, but I have a long way to go.

I think I'm an 8.
I don't know if I'll ever evolve any further, because I don't have an innate sense of style, and I copy rather than create.
I've made a lot of progress, though.
I learned how to use accessories, to be open to new trends, to take an extra effort.
Instead of overusing jeans I embraced dresses and now they're my signature item.
I also understand body types and colors much better and I stick to cuts and colors which flatter.
But, I'm a terrible hoarder and I have an absurd number of things which create confusion and clutter in my wardrobe. I tend to get carried away with the fit and price, and get things which cannot be fitted into my lifestyle or which I already have in my closet.
I should concentrate more on quality and versatility of the pieces I get, and be less influenced by transient styles and people I look up to (not only fabulous ylf members, but also my very styilish coworkers and neighbours).
I'll become a 9 when (or if) my wardrobe becomes smaller, more organized and more functional.

I would say I'm at a 7.5. Having been stuck at a 2 for my whole life, 7.5 isn't bad, and it's fine to feel like I still have more to learn and a ways to go.I am having fun and that's a 10!

I'd say I'm at a 4. I've learned enough to know what doesn't work, but I haven't figured out what DOES work that I love and will wear. Sigh... At least it's a mostly fun process!

I think this question made me realize that one thing that holds me back from reaching the upper terrace is I still dress down to my audience, even though I already challenge the environmental norm A LOT. I mostly feel confident about the way I dress, although there is also lots of room to grow, so I will give myself an 8.

Do I feel the pressure to blend in too much? even though I don't? *she asks herself*
