Just popping in to show the fit of Angie’s BR dress on my pear shape for anyone considering it.

I’m searching for a semi casual wedding guest dress for late April and thought this might work. Sadly, it doesn’t work for that occasion because I think it’s too summery. However, I do have a need (gaping wardrobe hole actually) for a summer dress that works day or night depending on accessories and this dress fills that need.

I tried both the white and navy and the navy was the clear winner. The white dress I tried the fit was way off, I could try it at another store but when I tried on the navy I liked it so much more on me.

I have to say I felt good in this dress, I love that it’s navy and not my usual default, black, and it’s both structured and feminine. I left without the dress but I’m still thinking about it and wondering if I shouldn’t go back and scoop it up.

Would love to know your thoughts, especially what you think about the fit. Sorry about the bad photos, the lightning is horrible in store.
