Oh my goodness, you guys are all too kind, I’m buying the dress!
Gaylene, Smittie, Kathie, SarahD8, Christina F. Bonnie, Anne, Echo, Dianna, Emily K., thank you for your comments!
Angie, the dress DOES look like a designer piece. I would have never even tried it on if it weren’t for your suggestion, thank you. Now I need YLF for dogs to find the coordinating bow and collar for Ginger. She LOVES to get dressed up as much as I do.
Cardiff Girl, Unfrumped, I am definitely a pear, my tops are at least one full size smaller than my bottoms. One reason why dresses and suits are difficult for me. And I think the mirrors at BR are very forgiving or it’s my bad photo skills. But the waist is a tad bit loose which I liked because it is helping to minimize my hips/thighs.
Suz, I would grab this dress if you have a need. I see it as a very versatile piece.
Roxanna, LOL!!! I’m only a tad bit over 5’ 4” tall. I’ve never been accused of having great height, thank you for that.
Tulle, I’m convinced that I need the dress, thank you for your comment. Regarding the wedding, late April is a tricky time here because it is usually FREEZING cold and still mostly more like winter than spring so in person I ruled it out for the wedding. It is clearly a warm weather dress for me. If this were a Late May wedding I could keep it in the running and definitely would wear it as you suggest. But, I have plenty of time and I have a black dress back up option in my closet. Really didn’t want to wear black though. And this was the first and only dress I’ve tried on so far. I’ll be trying on many more.
