Very interesting but mostly want to express admiration for your color sense. I would never have thought of that combination and it seems both so unusual and yet absolutely perfect.

Good idea! I try to shoe horn myself into one style and then I get bored. Your way makes a lot more sense!! (I'm right there with you with the two young kids, two career craziness!)

Interesting. I’ve not thought of doing ratios within style categories. Ive only done this for seasons (80% winter 20% summer) but it makes sense to do this based on style categories too.

I love this idea so much! Of course, I am a sucker for any kind of wardrobe analysis.

I am very tempted to try your system myself but I think for now I need to keep my focus on building a better understanding of how different outfit formulas work in my wardrobe.

So I will enjoy reading along as you carry out your plan. I love the lavender blouse to go with your green suit. Wow, what a stunning outfit!

Stays fit, the ratios are based on how I feel, completely subjective!

Jenava, your strategy is fun and makes a lot of sense to me. Thank you!! You inspired me. Congrats on your impressive and specific analysis. Also on the great green and lavender combo!

I just today tried something similar with my wardrobe in a casual, intuitive kind of way, with a slightly different take, and it got me to a specific shopping list very fast. My personas are based on the various functions of my existing items in terms of the activities I do, as well as who I feel like while doing them. My percentages are based on the approximate time I spend in each role.

For example, my clothes are about 40% "Free Spirit" for most of my daily activities, 30% "Lounger who Exercises", 10% "Comfy Traveler", 10% "Arty Urbanite in the Country", and 10% "Italian Movie Star". (She helps me get dressed to go out on the town.)

I quickly realized that I am set on most of these, and only need a couple of practical items and one fab fit-and-flare dress. A fun analysis to do, and surprising but pleasing results. My clothes are more in line with my lifestyle than I would have thought, because a year ago they were definitely not.

What a cool idea. I like how you’re approaching this. Hmmm, food for thought.

I’m intrigued by this approach. I’m in the bumble camp Along with Elizabeth P and LisaP. This makes a lot of sense. I’m in the process of my first winter/summer switchout (inspired by a a brief spell of 75+ degree weather after our endless winter in the N. Cali mountains, but sadly back to the 60s last week so I was digging into the underbed storage) and a purge. I will reread and track responses to help guide me. I like be hearing how others approach this. Thanks!
