A little window shopping - Loft and Anthropologie

I'm finally home now after trying on quite a few items at Anthropologie. I bought none of these (except for #7 and #11) but I'll post the photos so you can tell me what you think. As usual these photos were taken by IPhone and you know the lighting is bad at my Anthro fitting rooms.

#1 - #2: Loft top and Ikat linen bottom. Dh like the top but not the bottoms. I didn't buy.
#3: Anthropologie - Bailey 44 dress - For some reason it didn't do anything for me.
#4: Anthro - light cotton peplum top but didn't buy.
#5: Anthro - a little too colorful for my taste but fit well
#6: Anthro - white shirt dress longer in the back - cute but pricey
#7: Anthro - Green top that I purchased
#8: Anthro - lemon top - too long
#9: Anthro - tank top - meh
#10: Anthro - AG polka dot pants
#11: Anthro - green top I purchased

I really like the Ikat linen pants, and I love a good peplum top. That is such a fun print on that dress in #5! It looks like I should check Anthro out some time soon.

Bummer dh didn't like the ikat pants. i think they are fab, but then again, if I had bought them for myself, my hubs would have laughed me back to the store.

Confession: I loved your last top you already posted so much that I totally went out tonight and bought it in cream. Please don't hate. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?

I'm exhausted just thinking of all that changing - you're a trooper! I really like the Baily 44 dress, but it's not your normal style and the top is a bit wide open, but who notices when it does what it does to your body!

I love the ikat pants! Are you sure hubby won't adjust? I think the B44 dress looks smashing on you. I also love the dress in 6, and I'm really glad that green top in 11 went home with you!

I think #2 and #5 are fab on you! Worth reconsidering? The pants especially, they look fantastic on you.

I like the white dress (#6) as well.

My breath was taken away when I saw how much those ikat pants flatter you! I never would have thought that petite person could carry a pattern like that. They look fabulous with your vibrant coloring. The simplicity of your cami plus the pattern mixing of your phone cover make them look even better. Maybe you can show Pic #2 to DH for him to reconsider? Most guys (unless they're golfers, I guess) don't wear patterned pants so the look is probably a challenge for them. . . .

I am drooling over that white shirt dress. Its so gorgeous. I also liked the lemon top.

Laura - I love the print of the dress and it's very light but I think it's a bit too form fitting for me and when you're not used to something like that, then I veer away from it.

JennyAnne - I left you a message on your last post. The white version of my top looks fab on you. And I don't hate! LOL.

JSloane - sometimes I get on a roll when I'm in one store the longest, so I just grab a whole bunch of things and try them on. Other times, I'll buy them and try them on at home.

janet - Thanks about those pants. I liked it and I didn't. I guess I'm so used to wearing solid color bottoms that I felt the print made me look bigger than I was.

Cocolion - the printed dress was colorful but too much drama, if you know what I mean. Plus I'm trying to keep away from florals and look more for geometric patters.

I totally get the phobia of patterned bottoms making one look bigger, but if that picture is any indication, those pants are truly flattering. Now I want to try them on!

I'm kinda into #9 even though you said you felt "meh" about it. And i feel like those polka pants could look cool rolled up a little bit.

But your purchases are great too!

I'm with the others on the Ikat pants. I think they are very flattering. Sometimes it is work to get past our own preconceived notions of what looks good. Maybe you need to try them again to make sure you don't want them.

I also love the white dress in #6. I just read a blog post about combining white dresses with turquoise, yellow and orange and it really is a very fresh look for spring/summer.
