Istanbul is, for reasons locked away in toddler memory (one of them has to be the beauty of the Bosphorus), one of my favourite cities in the world. Indeed, at two, I said it was THE favourite --- and kept saying it until I was at least 10, and hankered to see it again! My adult self wants to visit too. Envy you for having your home there.

Do not envy you all the last-minute things a move of this magnitude must mean, so wishing you calm and quick resolutions to any bottlenecks.

How fantastic to be returning home to Istanbul! I hope your absence here is only temporary--good luck with your move and relocation!
