sometime early this year, Anthro sent me an email with these pointed toes sneakers featured. i really liked these them, but spring seemed sooooo far away, it just didn't seem the right time to buy them. so i added them to my finds, and collected a few other similar styles. then last weekend, the promise of spring was there. so i went back to my finds, decided i'd order a these sneakers, only to find they were sold out! yup, the 1st weekend it starts to feel warm, and the spring sneakers were already sold out. so i spent sometime trying to find someone else selling them….no luck. but on the brand's website, i did find a contact email. I'm sure this email was meant for stores who wanted to carry this brand, but i thought, nothing ventured, nothing gained. and with in an hour, i had a email back, asking my size, and telling me that his assistant would get back to me on monday. as promised, on monday, the assistant emailed me with the name of the one store in the US carrying the shoe in the color i wanted. on Tuesday i called the store in Brooklyn, and on Friday they arrived…..now it just needs to get warm enough to actually wear them.
