A great basic sweater... - YouLookFab Forum

About three weeks ago, I posted a question regarding what to "do" about sweater dresses and knit dresses sticking to one's tights or hose, and Diana mentioned some slips at Target...

Of course, in order to get 'free' shipping from Target, I wanted to boost my order up to $50 (funny how that works..)

I found this sweater - available online only, and wanted to share with the forum, because it's a *great* basic 100% wool sweater for an excellent price:

I've bought sweaters like this in the past, but they were more than three times the price as this one that I got from Target. Just a minor follow-up to Angie's blog post about layering tops/sweaters, in case anyone's looking for wool v-neck sweaters. I think this is a pretty good buy and am happy with my basic wool v-neck sweater from Target of all places.

Thanks for the heads-up, velvety. Target actually has some great basic staples. I love the khaki skinny jeans I got there and wish I'd bought more pairs at the time! That's going to be a nice uncluttered look for you.

I appreciate the tip, VC. I ended up ordering a blue merino turtleneck, though I was unable to get the black v-neck sweater you had so kindly linked to — it sold out in my size while I debated whether I should be buying it! I was so irked, I added a pair of boots to my order.
