Skinny jeans tucked in knee high boots is a functional silhouette for inclement weather, but has anyone come up with a way to refresh the look? I just discovered AG 'the Farrah' skinnies (a Godsend for mamas) and I have been wearing with ballet flats and my Blondo boots but a little bit of me feels 'last seasn' since I know this uniform has been around for ages. Should I go for chunky workboots? Sleek platform ankle booties? Are wedge sneakers still a thing? Help!
I know there are trendier cuts out there now, but they don't seem as foul-weather friendly, except maybe for the cuffed jeans. (Specifically flares and cropped styles.)
