A few of the Bay Area YLF ladies had dinner tonight...

Srujana, Cyan45 (Lisa) and I met up for dinner tonight. We didn't mean to exclude any of the other Bay Area YLF ladies but this was really last minute (we literally planned it last night).

We met up at a San Jose Ethiopian restaurant and had a lovely time. We talked as though we had known each other for years. I had a great time and couldn't have asked for better company.

we should have another bay area YLF get-together to kick start the new year. anyone available, and if so, when/where? i recall interest in a SF meeting sometime...

marianne, the red coat is actually from macy's. i found it while shopping on thanksgiving morning (hehe), it was one sale, and i used all my gift cards to
purchase it. thanks for the compliment! i love it too...

We had a lovely time.

Laura, I'm at home visiting family. I obviously left Chicago at the *best* possible time. I'll be back soon though, so I'll still get my fair share of the awful weather! For now I'm enjoying mild 50 degree temps!

Jenny- I am in NC, new to the area and my husband is tired of being my shopping girlfriend I am also really intimidated to actually meet anyone here on the list but..
I was thinking about putting it out on the post but I will be visiting SF for work in March, and have been saving for a day of shopping in SF as part of my trip. I am shy to suggest a ylf meeting during my work visit but I think I'd do a better job with help and opinions of the ylf locals in SF..?

I'm so jealous! Can we please, pretty please do an SF shopping day? I would so go, even though if it were in March I couldn't shop in regular stores but I would want to see everyone.

rosemerin & alicia, when are you free in march? rosemarin, no need to feel shy! i admit i did the first time, but quickly got over it we are all on our own journey,
and it helps to have encouraging people along the way, right?

fyi, if anyone is on a shopping ban as well (for whatever the reason), please don't feel like you can't come. the more the merrier!

Sounds like fun and of course you stylish ladies did YLF proud with your outfits for the evening! Well, I'm not too far from NY and pass nearby quite a bit have yet to make it to a YLF gathering.

I did acquire a stylish shopping friend last fall and it has made all the difference - it's so much more fun to have someone with you to give you a second opinion right there in the dressing room (especially when you cannot bring the whole YLF forum with you!).

I love to see the YLF get togethers, Louise is my closest member I think, but she is 300 miles away, ah well.

I may be the only Scottish forum member (.....all by myself....don't wanna be)

Julie wish we had found ylf sooner we camped in scotland a couple of summers ago i'll have to talk the other half into going again and hope he forgets about all the rain we had for the week
