You look amazing! I love reading your analysis b/c your purchases (and entire wardrobe) are so considered.

I am filing all of the info here for reference. I also have wavy hair, but it is fine and not plentiful, shall we say. I tend to blow mine out or straighten it. If I air dry it looks like a bad perm growing out. I've tried coconut oil but found it a bit heavy for me - even when I apply and then wash out (I do use it on my legs!). I don't mind a Sally Hanson product called Beach Waves or something like that...if I'm going wavy it helps tame the frizz. Your hair is looking fab!

ETA...no not sally hanson (that's nails right?!), sally something else I think it starts with a W...better double check that.

<oh my! Now I want to let my grey out, too! You look amazing both with the color and the hair. The close up of you in scarf and glasses make you look like a very cool and interesting person - which you are, of course. I love your new pieces, and your shopping luck seems to have no end.

Okay, the clothes are fab.

BUT OMG THE HAIR!! I am swooning over here!

Srsly.

I can't even...

That settles it. When I next see my stylist we are going to have a serious talk about a new cut that lets me go wavy full time.

So gorgeous! Love the hair and all the looks. The colors in the sweater are stunning.

Isn't Last Chance a hoot? You found some great stuff! Went there while visiting and found everything from Jimmy Choo's circa 1984, complete with glitter and evidence of a lot of dance floor activity for $100, as well as some amazing, quality bargains. I snagged a gorgeous wool coat for $20. Who needs that in Phoenix?

You look fab.

How did I miss this?! First, I was choking with laughter when you talked about your "mangy hair" you funny, self-effacing character with a dry wit!!! You're gorgeous and may I say I love your new floral-print top and that beautiful blue cashmere scarf!

Talk about style refreshers! This is the way to go and you've added to your minimalist wardrobe beautifully, Claire. I like your hair both sleek and wild and wooly, whatever strikes your mood. How lucky you can wear it both ways. Mine is either flat or flatter.

Since this thread has been bumped, I'm coming back to say that I did indeed follow your example and get myself a cut that allows my waves to, uh, wave. They're not quite as fab as yours but it sure is nice to have the option! Thanks, Claire!

Wow - I missed this first time around too - although I have being new as my excuse:) I love this sweater, the shoes, your white jeans, your hair, your glasses. Ok , I love you too Moroccan Oil is what I use on my ends - you might like their shampoo and conditioner too.

Wow - you look great - love your bargain buys! I am a totally useless sale shopper and am in awe of our skills.

My random score that I like to remind everyone who asks happened in a Banana Republic store in Nashville - where I found 3 cashmere beanies in the sale bin at the checkout for $5 each. I don't think anyone in Nashville knew what a beanie was, or knew what cashmere was for that matter. I told the
SA - "I'm from Canada - this is pure gold". He said : " where?"

Now I can't remember if I saw this and commented or missed it Claire!
Anyway, your hair looks very much like 'you' to me- natural, classic and FAB of course
Funny that I mainly buy patterned scarfs to go with my mostly plain tops!

Fabulous! That blue scarf is beautiful and it looks fantastic with your sweater. I love your hairstyle, too!

So late to the game but Claire! Oh my! The new do and 10 item closet amazing. I think your shopping plan is working beautifully for you. The clutch is amazing too. Love how fresh the florals work with your bottoms! Did I mention you are a total inspiration love how you have discovered and perfected your style!
