I think that both the white and blue denim clamdiggers look KILLER and are very flattering. Gorgeous figure!

Hiking pants are good for hikes. Rest can find their way to their next home.

Looking at your things is super helpful for me, Janet - is making me realize that I might be hanging on to things that, while they still look good enough, are not my style anymore. Maybe I need to do an edit too...

FWIW I think Angie is dead on (when is she not?!)

No comments on your holding zone items but sending Tippi love and positive energy.

My best wishes, Janet... I hope all goes as well as it can.

Thank you, lovely friends. Tippi is hanging in there, such a little trooper. Just enjoying her presence, moment to moment.

I also really appreciate the comments on the holding zone pieces. I’m keeping the Jag shorts (try on of a new piece, not holding zone), and the hiking pants will probably get worn in about an hour when I finish my coffee and go out for a walk. The white Gap cutoffs are back in my closet, and the Zara tropical blue top will get another season to see if it inspires me.

If I’m being honest with myself, I’m not feeling the button-front leopard shirt, and it has certainly earned its retirement — it is soft and light, so maybe it can go live at the ranch...maybe. Considering we are not spending the kind of time there that we used to, I probably don’t need to take anything else there. The H&M top will be donated.

Thanks so much!

I'm very late to the discussion but want to send some prayers for Tippi, and hope she continues to hang tight with you pain free.

Janet, that's really too bad about Tippi. Hugs to her and to you -- it's so hard. May she hang in there happily for some time.

Awfully late to the conversation but you look brilliant in the long shorts (white ones and new Jags) and I like the hiking pants and the leopard shirt.

The knee pants are good. I wish my old hiking pants would magically fit again. And I kinda feel the leopard button down is one of those things that might make a rare and useful appearance. I love the material of the blue tops, but agree it’s maybe time for them... lol, could they become masks?

I love the leopard shirt. Isn’t leopard classic? Does DH like it?

That last top, the oversized one, seems the least "Janet the rock star" to me. That leopard shirt is totally rock star approved
The pants and shorts are great on you

Your holding zone is sorted, Janet. Best to Tippi.

I also had the leopard “perfect shirt” (think I learned of it here in ‘09 or’10-ish); while I loved that it was both comfortable and could be a little dressier, it is long gone. The print didn’t date, but the shirt itself lost its appeal. With similar coloring to you, I found the tones a bit “cooler” than many leopard prints and appreciated that. For a button down, it was extra easy to wear and not feel too much like business wear; my guess is your wardrobe has other pieces that fill the role now that you are weary of it.
