Oh, and I will try different bras next summer for the 2 maxis. As discussed I might share the red maxi with my daughter if she is still interested. Sometimes for a summer BBQ with friends a maxi dress is just the thing to my mind, so I will keep the Bali cobalt one available for that.

My favorites are # 1 and # 6. Love the colors, fit and style on you ❤️

Especially love the more for more fit and flare styles on you - the orange is fantastic!! My least fave is the black (I know, weird from me, bit it feels like the least "you" to me) ... But I agree, might be worth keeping simply because sometimes an LBD really does come in handy.

I found this really interesting Jenni - great to see the dresses and work out which ones really suit you.

I am not looking at your description or comments so this is purely my first reaction - #1 is my favorite and I like #s 4,6 and 9 also. I like you in a more defined neckline and a just below knee length, analyzing backward.

I'm abit slow but before looking at the comments thought 1, 3, 6 and 9 were all keepers, were great colour and fit for you. Now reading the comments, I see others agree with me. I got rid of my LBDs in favour of a blue dress as I think another colour can be a good base like an LBD. That blue one number 9 could be a worthy LBD replacement. Its nice to sort out the dresses at this time of the year when you can really see when you use them.

Thank you all again! Overall remarkable consistency in what people think. I always felt that just below knee length was good proportionately on me. I may need to wait until that length becomes fashionable again to buy anything new- not that buying anything new was the point of this exercise. Just that it is coming to the end of summer- mind you an unusual summer with fewer chances to socialise due to an Omicron wave cancelling events all over.
Fashion Weekend was cancelled (again) and so was a good friend’s 60th. I hope one day I can wear these dresses more often again!

just a thought - please don't wait until a certain length becomes fashionable again. I think the "fashion world" has finally achieved "any length goes." More specifically - any length that flatters or that we like is perfectly fashionably fine!

Oh thanks Sloper I meant to ever find any new ones, perhaps. Because all the current dresses I see ( not that I want to buy any, I don’t wear the good ones of these enough) have tiers or puffed sleeves and would be massively long on me. I feel current fashions in dresses would sort of “drown” me, so I either need to thrift shop or perhaps just wait until something more suitable returns.

My favorites are #1,6,7, and 9. They seem most flattering to my eye.

More love for 6, 1, and 9- you do really well with a defined waist and styles that fit in the underbust area. 5 and 7 are my least favorite- they both look at bit large. And the rest are in between.

Chiming in with others to say my favourites on you are 6 and 9. You look effervescent and vivid in those two! I also like 1 a lot but wonder if it needs a bit of a pinch up on the shoulders -- sometimes I do that to make the fit better on a sleeveless dress for my short-waistedness and it's an easy alteration. It may be because of your change in weight and the alteration could make it a new favourite.

The others look as if they don't fit as well (to my eye) and/or the colour doesn't do you justice.

One more batter for team #6! I think both the colours of the dress and its cut make you shine. The defined waist, full skirt and cap sleeves do work wonders on you.

#5 is my least favourite. The fabric does not look as substantial as others, and I don't think the U neckline with very large shoulder straps look as good on you as either higher necklines with large straps (like 9#), or U necklines with thinner straps (like #1).

I'll chime in on the love for #6 and #9 - hands down my favorites. I also like #3 but would love to see it with a different tank and I do see that there may be fit issues with it. I think I really just like that print on you. I also agree that the plain u-shape neckline doesn't look best on you, almost like it needs a third piece on the top.

The orange and blue though are fabulous dresses. Love them on you.
