Carol, I love high top sneakers, unable to wear them much myself but appreciate it on others. Hope you will find a pair that works for you.

Reberahphoto, I hoped that Bluntstones would work for me unfortunately they didn’t. Too bad, I like the simplicity and unisex look, also how they get better with the age patina.
Rock, good luck with dress shoes, it’s not easy to find a suitable pair, I know from my own experience.
Bj1111, indeed, I’m looking at a pair of Club Monaco oxfords on Poshmark myself!

Well, here are the results of trying on the slingbacks:
- a gold heels pair is almost perfect, needs a bit of stretching but I’m going to keep it. These are intended for special occasions and not for walking long distances. They will be my second pair of occasional shoes. I also have 5 years old pumps.

- a brown tweed pair. They are too tight in the bunions area and I don’t think they will stretch, they have leather edging that feels hard. Sizing up didn’t help. I will be returning them. I also ordered them in black, plain leather. These feel better and don’t have a hard edge. I’m thinking about keeping them for casual wearing.

At the beginning of 2024 I bought these sandals on discount, and they have been my best shoe purchase, as I have long hot summers. Having experienced hip and knee pain, due to a sporting injury, my resolution for 2025 is to wear flat or low-heeled shoes. I recently bought these boots and have high hopes that they will become work horses. Whilst I love the look of heels, I won't be adding to my collection, but don't intend to dispose of them either. The occasional wear of heels is fine and does not trigger pain.

I love your elegant footwear selection, those sling-backs are lovely.

Bijou, your new boots are great. Hope they work for you. I have 6 years old sandals from Arche and love them.

I love your thoughtful approach to style Irina!

The only shoe I've missed over the last few months is a low heeled black bootie. As soon as the cold hits I love to wear black and keep wishing for these, so they are on my radar for sure!
