I may have the most difficult feet in the world to buy shoes for so please take my reviews with a grain of salt knowing this up front. I typically can wear Munro to work where I spend a fair amount of time sitting at a desk. They could never be shoes (for ME) I could walk in for 5 or 6 hours. The only shoes that fit that requirement would be Birkenstocks or Brooks athletic shoes.
1. Munro Verandas- ordered in the black suede/black patent- 9W- they felt wide enough but the top of shoe hit my big toe. I liked them but didn't love them so back they go...trying to only buy items I love and feel good about wearing and these did not meet that requirement.
2. Munro Drew bootie-9.5 W-hoping these would accommodate my custom orthotics which are a 9.5 wide (to fit into my Brooks athletic shoes.) The orthotics did not easily fit into the shoes and since I normally wear a 9W in Munro shoes, even when trying to make the orthotic work, they bootie still felt too big. Thinking about our hard midwestern winters, I just didn't feel the suede would hold up and look nice after going through sleet and snow. Back they go.
I hope this review is helpful to someone; I had my fingers crossed and hope I do not sound negative. Generally I have always been happy with my Munro purchases, just not these 2.
