1st NAS Order Arrived

I LOVE my UPS Driver, he delivered my NAS packages this morning instead of at our regular late afternoon time. He gets me.

I know it's a lot of black, and it's hard to see detail, but that's what I wear most of the time.

Your feedback is appreciated.

P.S. If you are looking for a cropped, black, knit pant, YOU NEED THESE HALOGEN PANTS! I'm hard to fit pants with my pear shape, large thighs and hips but these fit like a dream and are so comfy (and forgiving!).

I LOVE the coat on you. I'm undecided on the jeans from these pics. They don't wow me like I expected them to. I really like the loafer and pants and solid black sweater. I think I'd need to see the open shoulder sweater styled to decide if I love it.

Do you think the fab cold shoulder top will also work with the cropped Halogen black pants? It may be fab together.
Just send your UPS guy over to me, please? I have some deliveries scheduled for *yesterday* with usps ( they lost their upper case by me) and they came up with a "blocked receptacle" excuse and did not deliver yesterday, I rescheduled them and they are now in limbo... I wonder who has a receptacle for parcels/boxes in front of their house!

Are you happy with the jeans at that length? I know they're longer on the model (she's probably 7 feet tall). You're the first real person I've seen model them so I was expecting them to be shorter. The TT coat is AMAZING on you!! Wow! And now I am lusting after those shoes. What size did you buy the Halogen pants in? I'm stalking them.

Traci, the jeans fit like a dream and I kind of like the unique hem treatment, but they are definitely not everyones cup of tea.

Joyce B, I'm sorry about the ups, drama. (lower case in support) But, yes, the CS sweater will look great with the cropped pants.

Suz, I'm just over 5'4". The Halogen pants are not petite, they are just my normal size. I may also try to snag the petite for my higher shaft booties.

AviaMariah, yes, I am happy with the jean length. I already have plenty of crops so these at more of an ankle length are a bit different. They do fit me all around different than the model. I sized down one size from my normal size. In the Halogen pants I'm wearing a 6 regular, which is my usual size. The shoes were a last minute, kind of impulse purchase because I have a pair of black loafers on my list. I ordered a few others and need to decide which ones to keep.

Xtabay, OMG, I'm blushing! I don't think I've ever been called cool.

Angie, you are so kind. I did score big time. Now I'm so happy I didn't find all of my summer items and had the extra budget to put towards NAS. I really love everything so far and can't wait for fall. Thank you for the all-black blessing!!!

Oooh, so you are just a smidge taller than me, then. That is what I thought I remembered but I scarcely believed it because those Frame jeans actually fit you! Do you have super long legs for your height?

The TT is a regular size, too, right? I know you told us already...

I almost never order petites because my rise is rather long, but my legs are on the shorter side, which might mean that the Halogen pants would be better in a P. Hmmmm. Stalking them.

Suz, I think my proportions are completely average all around. I do not have super long legs at all. The TT is my usual size for tops and coats these days, 4. The 6 was just too big on top.

kkards, to be honest, I considered the Joie pants but passed because I do not have a need to wear pants very often in my current lifestyle and decided to put that budget towards other things. I would try both to see which fit you best.

Great looks! I have recently allowed my self to fall back into my black comfort zone. I am loving the halogen pants. I ordered some nydj ones with black "Farrah's" and joes curvy skinnies yesterday and now this post. Can I order every day?!?

Thistle, I did score and I love everything. I don't know about high or low volume feet. I have average feet, I think. And I generally don't have fit problems. I ordered the loafers in my average loafer size 7.5. Sometimes in sandals I'm a 7. At first I thought the sides by the ankle were stiff, but in about a minute they seemed fine. I think my feet aren't used to closed toes since I've only been wearing sandals in the summer. But, I think these are a good fit and going to be comfy.

If the jeans feel great, then I love them! I think part of my pause was just in the positioning of the picture I didn't notice the hem detail. I bet in person it adds just the right amount of special.

Lovely, lovely pieces. The coat gives me shivers of delight, and the denim and shoes look super cool. I also like the cold shouldered top. The fit is just right and the cut-outs give a great geometric feel. Score!
