I have been holding off on joining the TR frenzy, but was intrigued by these jeans because (1) they have flat pockets (and thus are more versatile than the Camerons, which have pocket flaps) and (2) they appear slim in the waste and tapered at the ankle. Also, Zappos is so easy for orders and returns that I thought I’d give them a try. They arrived in one day, and I am very pleased with them. I believe that they will be an improvement (for me) over my sized-up JCrew matchsticks and my GAP sexy BF’s because I don’t think that they will “buckle” around the fly and in the back waist area. They seem to fit well around the waist, are flattering in the rear, are tapered to the ankle, but are roomy in the thighs – I think they solve the problems that made me feel “dumpy” in my other BF jeans and I’m excited to hem them up and start wearing them. I have these jeans in slightly different wash and I adore them! I love the fact that they have regular, not flap pockets and that they are 100% cotton. I sized down a size for a slimmer BF fit.
