I tried these in my regular size both the black and the indigo. I loved the fabric and the brocade look, and preferred the black over the indigo. These were far too tight in the legs, but OK in the waist. I have an hourglass figure so this was no big suprise. I regretfully passed on these…I wish the fit had been as stellar as the look!

I bought these in my regular size and really like them. They fit my pear shape well and the rise is medium-high, which is nice. I have the indigo, and the brocade print is a subtle tonal print with a slight bronzed tone – quite subtle but just shiny enough. The length is juuuust barely long enough for me (5’3.5″ but long legged) although I’d prefer an inch more inseam. I will be wearing boots or booties, and the length is fine for that.

Be aware that these do not really feel like typical soft stretch denim, but more like a less stretchy, slightly stiffer woven pant. I prefer this as they have more structure this way and look better in my opinion. They seem to hold their shape well and don’t bag out.
