LOVELY midi length knit skirt! This skirt captured my heart in emerald green along with a floaty banded Vince Camuto blouse in black, citron, and emerald; I also learned to adapt other blouses that I normally tucked into more structured skirts to wear loose over the knit pencil skirt instead. Finally, this very curvy, full-figured girl has learned to surrender the waist!
The skirt has a raw edge, but I’ve worn it frequently and washed it several times, and it shows no signs of fraying at all.
The skirt material is double-layered; however, keep in mind that it’s not lined. For that reason, I actually found that sizing UP was more flattering to avoid feeling like every lump or bump was on display. I just wear my regular seamless undies with this skirt (no shapewear needed.)
I’ll be duplicating it in lapis blue for sure.

Love! This is the first midi skirt that really worked for me. I own this skirt in black and ink blue, and have found both to be super comfortable and versatile…especially with loose or voluminous tops. They don’t lose their shape no matter how often you wear them, and the fit is super flattering. It’s hard to resist buying it in every color!

Looked and felt lovely – great colors and quality, so comfortable. However, I tried on at NAS and my saddlebags just would not have it. Super skirt if this is not your problem area.

This is a terrific skirt. Soft jersey, fun, curved shape that narrows beautifully, yet it is stretchy, so it’s easy to walk in. I am 5’4″ and ordered the regular size because I wanted a choice of colours (there was only black in petite sizes). I will have to shorten it. I do want a midi, but it is too long on me as is. However, alterations are easy since the waistband is just covered elastic.

The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it is quite difficult to wear with tights, and in my climate tights are a necessity 8 months a year.

I am still looking for the proper undergarments to ensure a smooth glide. Nancylee suggested body smoothing shorts worn OVER tights, which might be a brilliant idea. I intend to keep the skirt and try this. But if it doesn’t work, that’s okay. It’s so nice that even if I can only wear it 4 months a year (without tights) I feel it was worth the price.
