I really liked these desert boots! And they are SO comfortable. They taper quite nicely against the ankle which means they are a no brainer with casual dresses and skirts. I would wear these ankle with skinny ankle pants or jeans.
Wearing them with a dress or skirt would probably just
make me look shorter than my 5’0″.

These are really attractive. Since they’re a nude, they would be leg legnthening with bare legs and a skirt. I like that they are streamlined and have a low heel. I just clicked the link to “shop this item” and they only have two sizes left! Everyone else must have liked them too.

I love the look of this boot for its shorter heel height, comfort factor and color. However, I just wish it came in a nude or butter leather so I could use it for more than the winter months. I feel like a suede boot limits me in some way. Yet, I do wear my black knee-high suede boots whenever I feel like it, because they make me feel so good. So, maybe I could apply the same “logic” to these.

This is the perfect heel for me, very solid but doesn’t look squat. I think I’d actually be able to wear these to walk to and from the train station to work, except when I got my usual size of 7.5, it was a bit too narrow in the front. I generally am somewhere between 7W and 7.5 regular, so if you like this boot and it does happen to be available in the next size up, maybe give it a go then. I hope Zappos gets it back in stock in an 8 so I can try that!

After reading Angie’s recommendation, I purchased the tan pair (had to wait a bit from Zappos until my size came back in stock). When I first looked at the shoes, I didn’t think I would like the look of them on my feet because I normally do not care for a wide toe shape. However after wearing them, I totally love the way they look with pants!!! I do have to wear them with a boot cut pant as they don’t work for me with slim pants. At over 60, I’m not brave enough to wear them with skirts. But I love the look of the shoes with my boot cut. They’re fairly comfortable and I will probably have to use a gel sole but heel height is OK and the look is great!

I just realized I never reviewed these booties. I love them so much! They are very comfy and go with literally everything. And every time I wear them I get positive feedback–from both friends and total strangers.

hbeaver and cheryl lanfear, I am both over 60 and five foot tall and I wear
shoes like this all the time and with skirts, too. Now, where I live, I don’t
see much of this and very few skirts so what I do is train my eye by looking
at what people are wearing online! Yes, taller and younger people but so what. I admit I have the opposite habit of asking whether something is
too young for me; I try not to wear anything too “old” for me.

One thing I have noticed with my shoes is that I seem to need them on
securely – I walk a lot on city streets – and want them firmly on across my
instep and even around my ankle. Having your shoes on securely means
you can stride with confidence and that’s very youthful and vital.
