They are not as snug as they look and definitely roomier than Gap’s Always Skinny Jeans. The rise is a good mid length. The waistband is a little curved for a perky fit. A basic pair of affordable jeans offered in several washes and lengths. Available in petite, regular and tall.

At 5’3″ I find the short length of these perfect to wear with a 1inch ballet flat heel. The material is a little soft, which makes them quite comfy to wear. I often forget I am wearing jeans. I’ve had mine for a couple years now and am quite happy with how they are holding up.

These are soft and comfortable with a mid-rise that hits just right. The regular length is just enough on my 5’5″ frame to give some scrunch but no hemming necessary. I found the sizing to be true with only slight stretch over wearings.

I tested these jeans out over the weekend and love them! The wash is super soft but doesn’t seem to relax too much throughout the day. As a curvy, full-hipped woman, I love the curved waistband since I’m able to get coverage in all the right places without experiencing muffin top. I even think that the slightly distressed mid-rinse wash is very flattering and pretty, which is a rarity for me since I have mostly been in dark jeans for the past year.

One unforeseen benefit to the lightweight fabric and close fit – surprisingly, I was able to make these jeans double as skinnies under boots. I just tucked the fabric under and didn’t experience any friction against my ankle like I would with a heavier weight of denim. Since the jeans have a close, straight fit against the knee and thigh area, the material didn’t bag out at all like my other straight leg jeans do if I try to tuck them into boots.

My experience with sizing was a bit different than the previous two reviewers – I found I had to size up slightly from what I would normally wear in other brands, and at 5’5″ I found the length to be too long for all except my high heels. I’m planning to get them hemmed for flats (with just a little room for scrunch.)

I just bought these one sale for $35. I found the ankle length perfect for my petite height. I am hoping that they will double as jeans I can tuck into boots.

Odd thing though–I tried on a 4 in regular length and a 6 in ankle length. The six was shorter in length but fit tighter than the 4. So be sure to try them on!

I’ve usually been disappointed with Gap jeans because I find that on my body, they have extra fabric in the crotch area (never a good look!). This season their pants fit much better on me… I’m not sure how they’re cutting them differently, but I’m happy about it. I got the straight jeans on sale and have been really happy with them. The curved waistband is perfect for my curvy figure (most jeans have a major gap on my body because I have a well-defined waist and very curvy hips). I only wish that Gap would come out with more washes- I would love a super-dark wash without any fading.

I would rate these at 4.5
I tried both the Perfect Bootcut and these Real Straight and I ended up buying these. They are a perfect balance between skinny jeans and bootcuts and I love the cut; the curved waistband hugs my waist and the regular length was perfect for my height (5’4″). I’m wearing them today with flats and can probably get away with wearing them with an inch or two of heel. Plus, they make my butt look good (so quoth my bf) :p
The only negative for me is that they are relatively thin. I tend to wear out the inner thighs on my jeans pretty quick, so I like a thicker fabric, but these were super comfortable and affordable, so lets see how long they last.

I bought two pair of these in white for summer. I had one pair hemmed for flats, the other I left as is.

My ONLY complaint is that they’ve shrunk a tiny bit after many months of washings.

Other than that, these do wonders for my curvy, hourglass/pair figure. Something about the knee break makes my legs look longer than they really are.

I also love the mid rise. Great for my figure.

Love these. I am petite (5’1″), and didn’t have to shorten the ‘ankle’ length, as it was perfect. The rise is perfect as well. These fit over my somewhat muscular calves, which can be an issue with skinny jeans.

I recently bought a pair and these have quickly become my go-to casual jeans. Ended up buying a size 6 regular length and having it hemmed for flats. Probably could have bought a 4, but i wanted something really comfy. I found the short length just an inch or so too short for my 5’3″ body). I would have preferred a darker wash so I could wear them to the office as well.
