These are great shorts. They hit me right below the knee, and I’m 5’5.” You may want to size down as these are VERY stretchy. I did buy a size down from my regular size. The white ones aren’t as stretchy so no need to size down.

Great shorts, with a perfect flattering length. They do run big — I bought a size smaller than I usually wear and they fit very well. Nice rice and doesn’t give me muffin top! A good summer basic.

I just bought these! The shorts are indeed very flattering, stretchy, and comfortable. The first this season that I’ve tried enough to buy full price.

I do have a question – does the dye rub off on these, or is it set pretty well after the first wash? I ask because I will be wearing this on an overseas vacation next week and don’t want to worry about my dye rubbing off everywhere.

I bought these in white and indigo and love them. They are soft to the hand and the fit is very flattering. After years of buying my walk shorts/bermuda shorts at a lower price point ($25 or so) and being less than thrilled with the white and denim options, I took the plunge this year and purchased these for $50 each. So glad I did! Usually I donate my summer bottoms after one season, but these are keepers. The style of the pockets on the back are an added bonus … very reminiscent of Hudson jeans.

I’m really happy with these. Being a pear I was a little bit worried about the pockets on the butt but they seem to work fine. They a lovely a soft and very comfy to wear.

I bought these in white at the beginning of the summer and am tempted to pick up a denim pair now that the price has come down significantly.
These shorts are quite soft and, at average height, hit me just at the knee length. I like that they stay relatively crisp and straight throughout multiple wears between washings. The white denim is a little snugger and smaller fitting than the blue denim pair I’d previously tried on, but I still find them comfortable and true to size.

So flattering! I didn’t think I’d ever find a pair of bermuda shorts I liked, but these totally sold me.

Most sizes are sold out at Nordstrom, but as of 11/12/10 they’re are still on Amazon. Buy the blue pair in the smallest denim size you ever wear.

I have these in blue and white. The blue stretches so I have to wear a belt, but the white does not. I felt the size down (in blue) was too tight, but the belt fixes all. Great, flattering shorts.
