I got this because it's fun, pretty, warm, super soft, does not irritate my nasal passages, and I had a cream scarf on my shopping list. You don't need to thread the scarf end through the pearl detailing because there is another loop that works even better to secure the scarf in place. For that reason, I might cut off the pearl decoration, but am unsure.
