undies

Balancing practicality & fun...starting with basics, want to add pieces that just feel special. Am realizing I still need panties, will buy them slowly to coordinate with other items. Need slip with cups or long baby doll to wear as slip under dresses. Half slips/ Slip skirts/ petticoats? Step 1: ordered several body suits with cups, hoping to save time and feel special, all in one. First to arrive was black mesh from Lascana. Felt fine, fit fine, looked fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special. Planned to send it back. Then decided ootd would include black Vince sweater that’s always a bit of a problem, because it’s slightly see-through. Realized the “cami” part of the black body suit was just what I needed. Wore it. Everything was fine/nothing was superb. More browsing websites and a stop at intimissi—that reminded me how much I like this stuff! Put a huge order in my cart, to think about. Also signed up for loyalty program. Found flimsy Rio thong in my “drawers drawer”, wore it. Liked it. Blue undershirt with shelf bra & black lace arrived that day. Would go well with the thing. Nice idea. Two realizations: making undies part of my outfits means planning purchases, laundry, etc as much as the rest of my wardrobe. 2) wearing body suits/teddies (same word in German) *as* undies means washing them every single wear. I’d rather wear panties with them.
