A great modern classic cabled pullover in a fun trendy earth tone. Fab fluid fit, not too chunky and boxy, lovely feeling against the skin, and machine washable. The mustard earned a place in my wardrobe.

These are beautifully made, and weatherproof because of a Gore-Tex finish. Gorgeous quality. SUPER cute on the foot in a chunky trendy way. They are warm, and will fit most feet because of the ample room and lacing. Extremely comfy. They fit low-volume feet like mine with thick insoles to take up width. NO ZIP, but the hiking hooks make taking them on and off a lot easier. The thick soles do make them heavier than my other three pairs of leather and weatherproof hi-top Converse, but it's not a train smash. The yellow is more mustard in person. Comes in black and burgundy too. Burgundy is available on the Converse site. The mustard earned a place in my wardrobe, and I've worn them several times already.

Extremely gorgeous tailored trousers that are warm, woolly, refined, dressy and LINED. They can work on a curvier body type if you size up. The waist is high and very fitted, so not good an apple shapes. The micro check is fun and versatile - more like a false plain. Dress them up or down. These earned a well deserved place in my closet.

The best velvet pants of the season at a relatively affordable price and beautifully made. They have worked on everyone who has tried them on, although some need a slight waist alteration at the back. A magical fit that works on curvier and straighter body types because of sturdy fabric, a mid length rise, a bit of stretch, and enough room on the legs so that pocket linings don’t grin through. Available in petites, regular and talls in an assortment of colours, and up to a size US18. The mustard is on it’s way to me.

This belt doesn’t look like much because it’s very basic, but it’s a cut above the rest. I have one in black and brown, and they are extremely soft, lightweight and lie very flat against the midsection. Classic and versatile. Substance without the bulk, and robust too. Sufficiently wide to wear with jeans, and the brass hardware is subtle. No wonder it’s a repeat style from Madewell.

BEST cashmere scarf at the sale. It functions as a wrap, but I think it looks better as a gigantic scarf on a long neck. Comes in toffee and grey. The toffee followed me home. Gorgeous quality.

EXTREMELY comfy and cushioning. Quite supportive, and works on both lower and higher volume feet. Size up for higher volume feet. They are a snug enough fit for narrower ankles. They followed almost every client home in the black or brown. They are mine in the brown.

BEST oxford at the sale. Extremely comfortable, and works on a variety of foot shapes. The white sole prevents the shoe from looking too masculine. Comes in four colours. Impeccable quality. The cognac followed me home.

BEST DRESS AT THE SALE if you like florals, enjoy sleeves, wear black patterns, adore midis, and like to define your waist. Extremely elegant, pretty, streamlining and flattering. Brilliant swoosh factor. Comes in many sizes and goes up to plus. TTS. Everyone who tried it on loved the silhouette, but the pattern is an acquired taste. Length is slightly longer on me, but not much. It followed me home.

The burgundy is darker in person. Well made and amazingly unique amidst a sea of skinny neutral belts. It perfectly complements my new Bordeaux booties - so it followed me home. Size down a size.

Pretty Tomboy. GORGEOUS oxfords. Very lightweight despite the chunky block heel. Streamlined and elegant on the foot and very comfy. Size up for higher volume feet. I want these to bookend my new brown specs.

Dress that is longer on me than on the model. Hits the top of my kneecap and I'm 5ft 6. It's long at the back and sides, which gives it more "length". Very architectural and voluminous from the side, so you have to be at peace with that. It only JUST does not swallow me up. The shirt detailing and ribbon placket down the front add lots of vertical integrity and structure. Fun side entry pockets. Pristine and crisp. Gorgeous heavy fabric. Impeccable drape. Modern, yet Retro too. Will wear it with tall boots and over skinnies. Have already worn it with cream booties. Maybe with hosiery and oxfords too. Well made. Chic.

Fabulous cocoon anorak in a sour shade of olive. Voluminous yet structured in all the right places. It's lightly quilted so will work for Fall or a mild Winter. Roomy in the sleeves so great over chunky knitwear. Cosy and trendy. AMAZING dramatic funnel neck and faux fur trim. Will not work on a short neck unless you fold down the collar.

Excellent TAILORED cargo pants. Olive is much darker in person. Not baggy - but not body-con either. Bags out a little after one wear. Can work on a slightly curvier figure if you size up, AND it runs a size small. Not good on full thighs or wide calves. Fab length and substantial fabric. Can work on petites. Comfortable. These followed me home.

The best short fitted puffer I've seen all year. Glitzy, chic and dressy. Not sporty. It's Zara but very well made. The black piping detailing is SUPERB, the chevron quilting is awfully slimming, and the cut on the funnel neck is architectural. Long necks pull off this style best. The red is less bright in person. More fire engine than tomato. Comes in four colours. The toffee is hanging in my coat closet. I LOVE it.

Modern Retro Fabness. These ultra trendy trousers are an acquired taste. They bring back the '80s in a wonderful way, although the fabric is very '40s. You have to wear them with a tucked top to showcase the buckle detailing, otherwise what's the point? Works well on a curvy figure with a defined waist, or a more rectangular figure with a defined waist. They pouf out when you sit, so you have to be okay with that. Exquisite quality and very comfy.
