I've been off silk blouses until I tried this one because it's a cut above the rest. Gorgeously luxe fabric and fit. The armholes aren't too low, and the shape is fluid but flowing in a way that I don't look like I'm wearing a tent. The curved hemline helps too. I'm wearing this blouse OUT and untucked over tomato red jeans which is atypical. The vertical integrity of the colour blocking is striking, and makes all the difference. Comes in a few patterns, and the length is quite long.

This is an interesting cut because it's shorter and boxier than a regular shirt, and with quite the curved hemline. The silhouette looks FRESH. The fabric is lovely, and drapes well in the fluid silhouette. Fun roomy fit. To my eye, scrunching the sleeves is best to create some structure. Works well semi-tucked too. It's just the type of top I like to wear in blazing heat because it's made of natural fibres, breezy, and covered. It earned a place in my wardrobe as an updated classic. I love the white buttons and the tomato red is delicious.

Every once in a while, Banana Republic can whack it out of the ballpark - like with these little darlings that are a repeat style. These fitted pullovers are made of substantial fabric, feel great, and are very versatile. Dressier than a T-shirt. More forgiving on the midsection than you think. I can wear them in the Summer and not feel hot. The white is not see-through at all. EXCELLENT layering tops under toppers, easy to launder and pack. Crease-resistant. Crisp and polished. Try them if you like to wear fitted tops. Comes in five colours. I have the black and white, and am topping up with red and pink.

Best dressy coat at the sale. A STUNNING Modern Classic that will work over midis, and just about anything else. High longevity factor. It's heavy, warm, luxurious, and beautifully made. Very tailored so no bulky underlayers. Quite slim through the arms, and quite straight on the hips - but not that straight. It has worked on straighter and curvier body types. Remember that button positions can be adjusted to create a better fit.

Best boxy jacket at the sale. Faux leather with teddy bear lining is cosy, fun to wear, and warm. Good length and fab side entry pockets. The fit is STRAIGHT and very fluid, so you have to be okay with that. It does not overwhelm a small frame, and you have to love red to commit to it.

I got these in red and they are fun, comfy and different. They are baggy in the thighs and legs but reasonably fitted in the seat and waist. They'll work for a curvier figure because of the room in the thighs and bottom. They bag out a bit during the day because they're 100% cotton. Moderate quality, and definitely needs a press after wash and air-dry. Comes in four colours.
