STUNNING Modern Retro boiled wool cocoon coat if you like Chartreuse. Works best on a long neck because of the funnel collar and neck tie. Slit sleeves can be turned back for an extra retro affect. Does not crease. Very comfortable for driving. Oversized in the torso and sleeves, and looks best that way. Tapers at the hem for structure, with fabulous side-entry pockets.

An impeccable modern classic trench coat in a soft shade of toffee that has a hint of blush. The fabric is luxurious and the fit is streamlined yet comfortable. Straighter fit on the hips. Chic. Looks as good as a Burberry.

Modern Retro MOD Fabness. Looks more A-line and fun in person. I was WOWED by this piece, and the bone is hanging in my closet, although the tomato red is just as fab. Water-repellent, roomy fit, and pristine gold hardware. (Warning: you have to be on Team Gold to love the hardware - which is what drew me in right away). Very comfy and looks Casually Chic & Polished. Removable hood with side entry pockets are great. Sleeves are long - even on very long armed me. But can be easily shortened. Has worked on some petites with sleeve alteration.

Fabulous cocoon anorak in a sour shade of olive. Voluminous yet structured in all the right places. It's lightly quilted so will work for Fall or a mild Winter. Roomy in the sleeves so great over chunky knitwear. Cosy and trendy. AMAZING dramatic funnel neck and faux fur trim. Will not work on a short neck unless you fold down the collar.

A retro cape in a micro, earth-toned houndstooth. The faux fur collar is removable. It's roomy, but can work on a slight frame if you are at least regular height. The pocket slits and tapered shoulders add just enough structure to the volume of the piece. It looks best all buttoned up to my eye. Dramatic, fun, and can be dressed up or down.

The best short fitted puffer I've seen all year. Glitzy, chic and dressy. Not sporty. It's Zara but very well made. The black piping detailing is SUPERB, the chevron quilting is awfully slimming, and the cut on the funnel neck is architectural. Long necks pull off this style best. The red is less bright in person. More fire engine than tomato. Comes in four colours. The toffee is hanging in my coat closet. I LOVE it.

Fun, retro and warm. I love the late '60s and '70s vibe of this casual jacket because it's different. The back yoke and volume is lovely, as is the elasticated hem and statement zipper. Not scratchy. Best on a straighter upper half with a narrower shoulder line. Not good on a larger bust. The collar is removable. Runs very small.
