2025 Footwear Rejected

Naturalizer 7s: natalia - good fit, heel unstable hated the color. Banks - pretty good fit but too bright a gold almost orange. Ginger snip toe fits well, comfy, chose a darker color. Blondo Anastasia 7.5 needed to add an insole for arch support and all attempts were too tight across the toe area. Kamik Ariel 7.5 with insoles replaced by superfeet, right toe area snug in fairly thin socks, also not enough cushioning ball of foot. Columbia boots sole too thin, not supportive enough overall. Lifestride 7s: Marlee toe too tight, Lainey no structure, minimalist straps too loose. Cole Haan Grandpro "Brown" leopard print 7 too short (toe hits), nowhere near enough ball of foot cushioning. Spring Step Jamia 38 right size but brown with grey sole is ugly Steve Madden Madrid 7 too tight, don't like lace flap or red collar. DV gold 7.5 fits well but synthetic so uncomfortable "Wayze" model (not exactly the find) which I suspect is counterfeit. DV notice stitch leopard sneakers too bold, stick with solid colors. (kept style in a diff color). DV brown ones felt too masculine in brown color. Dolce Vita Ericka loafer (no find) after wearing a bit at home noticed no arch support at all. Clark Desirae Coast 6.5 (tried beige and gold) after wearing around house realized no arch support. Vionic slippers were just a hair too short in 6.5 but mostly didn't have the sole cushioning i want. Giving up on slippers, will keep wearing ecco sneakers as house shoes. Trotters regina in 6.5.. too loose and too short. Tom's fisherman sandal - 7 right size but strap cut into ankle bone and no arch support. FS leopard sneakers look really clunky but 7.5 prob right size. Ntrlzr Lorena sneakers 8 is right size but feels too narrow across arch and don't like the shape. Aetrex with "buttons" is really ugly on the foot and not enough ball of foot cushioning. Rockport not enough ball of foot cusioning. Brioso booties 7.5 too big, 7 looks right, but a bit too much like my echoes (fairly heavy look) and want something a little more streamlined. Brioso gold sandals so good but front strap too loose and not adjustable. Aetrex Kaylee a bit clunky and 38 is too big, 37 would be right size (No find). abeo amble slipper metatarsal - 7 was close but heel slipped out when walking. Only comes in full sizes and 6 likely too small (no find). LLbean Hearthside slippers in 7 with added insole were ok (no find) but foot rocked back and forth sideways - felt unstable. Rejected all other styles tried on in-store. Born Cleo (no find) was just ok, decided to return and not buy this color this winter.
