This low-maintenance dress is easier for a change. I stitched the neckline up a bit to create a high V-neckline that's better suited to my body type, and it's perfect. I've been looking for a Breton stripe in a trendier silhouette, and this is it. Very roomy on the midsection and with an architectural dropped '80s sleeve. The hem tapers a little and has bound side slits so it works beautifully worn out over bottoms. It has a subtle sleeve cuff, and a bound neck too. Substantial rugby jersey fabric, and well made. Comes in neutrals.

Go Team '70s Dress. Bold, bright, soft, VERY comfy, and does not crease. Fluid yet fitted. Forgiving and flattering. Machine washable too. It cannot be hemmed so consider yourself warned.

Boden has been making my favourite button-down shirts for several seasons, and this one is no exception. It's beautifully made, and the fabric is luxe. It also has dogs all over it. Go Team Dog!

A beautifully made casual canvas tote that comes in five happy variations. It lies flat against the body and isn't too heavy. Fits well over the shoulder. Somehow it's quite structured. This earned a place in my beach & pool capsule. I have a navy polka dot bikini that works well with it.

Best bouclé at the sale. Bolder in person and super soft. The length is sublimely flattering and the shawl collar unique. The weave of the bouclé is tight and feels substantial. Roomy sleeves and great over all sorts of layers. Chanel-esque.

I adore this dress and had my eye on it for a while. It earned a place in my wardrobe because it's a perfectly breezy yet covered dress, which is just what I look for in Summer. Fluid yet structured, bold yet soft, dressy yet casual, an excellent midi length, ample movement, and fun pockets. You have to like wearing shirts to like the dress because it's a shirtdress of sorts. It's 100% cotton and easy to launder. It hangs very straight and with lots of room, so you have to be good with that too.

Sunray pleated skirts in interesting patterns that lie quite flat are rare and this one fits the bill. Pleated on the bias in a swirly diagonal stripe is extra interesting and with busloads of drape. I want this skirt.

I've been off silk blouses until I tried this one because it's a cut above the rest. Gorgeously luxe fabric and fit. The armholes aren't too low, and the shape is fluid but flowing in a way that I don't look like I'm wearing a tent. The curved hemline helps too. I'm wearing this blouse OUT and untucked over tomato red jeans which is atypical. The vertical integrity of the colour blocking is striking, and makes all the difference. Comes in a few patterns, and the length is quite long.

A great dress that is WARM, drapes well, and quite nice quality. Fab fabric with heft. The fit & flare silhouette, length and long sleeves caught my attention, so it's hanging in my closet. It's a little clingy on the lower belly area so you have to be okay with that, or wear shapewear if you like.

A refined casual cashmere hoodie with a gently fluid fit to wear as is or layered under a blazer. Fab quality and flattering fit. Polished. The grey is effectively brightened by the multi-coloured stripes.

AMAZING classic tailored turtleneck that is forgiving of muffin top because of substantial yet soft fabric. Fabulous fabric. Cotton-rich and good for those who are allergic to wool. Excellent for pattern mixing, and works straight into Spring with white jeans. The navy stripe is mine. Comes in solid colours.

Fit is perfectly fluid, JUST like how you see it on the model in the striped version. Very good structure on the neckline, shoulders, upper arms, cuffs and welt - which makes all the difference. I do not think it runs big if you want it to fit fluidly LIKE THE MODEL. You need long arms to wear the style because the blouson silhouette can overwhelm. Soft and not too thick, and with a neat and tidy neckline. Works on a range of bust sizes. The red is a shade of watermelon, and not tomato. The stripe is very bold. Not good on petites unless you have regular proportions up top. Read the rave reviews.

BEST skirt at the sale. It's BLUE - not black. Made of the lightest tweed, and is an asymmetrical work of art. It WOWED me. Brilliant drape and swoosh factor. Fun slits and asymmetrical hem. Extremely pretty and flattering. Can be dressed up or down. Best on those who like to define their waist. Impeccable quality. It followed me home.

I have this dress, which looks and falls just like how the model is wearing it in the photo. Gorgeous length, does not crease, and is extremely comfy. It’s an easy silhouette and elegant length. Will look equally good in Autumn with tall dressy boots. The neckline fits closely around my neck thanks to a back zipper, and the fabric doesn’t crease. It’s lined with the softest knitted modal and feels like you’re wearing a cotton dress.

A navy and white striped casual and very polished midi with a GORGEOUS fit. Drapes like a dream. Heft, substance and well made. It's very structured up top so you have to be okay with defining your torso and midsection. The length and asymmetrical hem are elegant and swooshy. Very comfy.The DOUBLE belt is NOT attached to the dress so you can place it where you like. Genius. The stripes of the belt go in different directions which is super cute. Looks great with simple flats. Machine washable. Impeccable.

Best hectic architectural shirt I've seen to date. Gorgeous shade of blue. Beats most of the designer styles to my eye, and much more affordable. Oversized, yet tapered in all the right places which adds just enough structure. It's not overwhelming, even on my slight frame. It earned a place in my wardrobe despite the wide neck because the cut is BRILLIANT. The collar that drapes down the back is cleverly positioned, and my chunky pearls fill in the gap on my neck. I like it best semi-tucked for structure. I wear it with Summer skirts and white jeans. I LOVE this shirt. My wild card for the season. Party at the back, and good with short hair to showcase the back detailing.

A stunning length skirt that looks awfully elegant and pretty. Can work on a straighter and curvier body type. Lightweight and Summery. The lace is soft and looks like a stained glass window. Turquoise is rare in fashion these days, so the skirt has my attention. I'm deciding whether it will earn a place in my skirt capsule.

If you're into warm-weather maximal jeans, crisp patterns, sour colours, and cropped flares - try these. The fabric is thick, not too stretchy, and very polished. The fit works well on a straighter or curvier body type because it moulds to your shape in a tailored and not body-con way. They are a little longer on me than on the model. A quality piece with a retro vibe, and I adore them.

Best on a longer neck and smaller bust. This pretty little darling earned a place in my wardrobe and is magical with white cropped straight jeans. IMPECCABLE light blue micro check pants that are made of extremely gorgeous crisp fabric. Crease-resistant, comfortable, and very polished. Good cigarette silhouette, and not skinny. Fits a range of body types. Runs big unless you want them to fit roomy like the model. I sized down to achieve a more tailored fit. They are mine and are the BEST Theory pants I've ever had.

Extremely gorgeous tailored trousers that are warm, woolly, refined, dressy and LINED. They can work on a curvier body type if you size up. The waist is high and very fitted, so not good an apple shapes. The micro check is fun and versatile - more like a false plain. Dress them up or down. These earned a well deserved place in my closet.

This is one way to wear the trendy shirt look at a price. Remember that the silhouette is BEYOND body type, and a little avant-garde. It comes in white. It's cotton-rich and machine washable, which helps. It is NOT beautiful Boden woven shirt quality at all. Far from it. But the cut is genius and the fabric is nice. It's the first shirt in this type of cut that does not overwhelm my narrow shoulders. I've laundered it, tumble dried it a little to check the quality, and it's fine. It earned a place in my wardrobe and is my "once a year trendy Zara purchase".
