I have this book in Portuguese! It’s a lovely book, it contains a list of 100 pieces every woman should have.
It does not teach how to dress or what looks good on your body, but is a nice guide to the ones who are building a new wardrobe.

Yeah, I found her opinions a rather interesting insight in the world of a fashionista. I liked how she pointed out how cool ” a man’s white shirt” might look on a woman, versus the usual feminine very contoured version. Oh how a denim jacket should be in her eye “really fitted” or “really oversized”. Also I liked the tips , where to buy those items. They’re too high-end for me, but were like a basic education in fashion.

I also own this book and was very disappointed with it. I found many of her choices very disconnected and very pricey. I wish that she had given alternatives and suggestions on how to wear things or incorporate them into a lifestyle.

This list is great for her and maybe for movie stars and wealthy, society women – but no so much for me and the women that I know.

I read this book some time ago. It was the first book I purchased in my attempt toward learning to style myself. The ratings on Amazon.com were very high and I was excited about reading this book. It was not helpful in the least. It was merely pictures of 100 of the authors items. Talk about vain. I avoid this author’s books like the plague. There are much better books out there. Pass on this one and look for others.

I won a lot of the style books featured here and this was a book that I looked trough and decided to pass. I was fairly dissapointed, these are the 100 items from her closet, not for an average woman. It is a fun read, but not very useful.

I foud this book an interesting read, but the list is compiled of somewhat pricey items and quite a few that wouldn’t necessarily suit my lifestyle. I edited the list and was left with about 70 pieces that could be useful to me. I would of course then add other items to the list, as well. All in all a fun read, but nothing very substantial about style and fashion. It functions well as inspiration to build your own list of classics, and I suppose that is its purpose, too.
