Competition: Pick the Featured Karen Kane Outfit

YLF readers will be picking one of the outfits that is featured on the front page of the new Karen Kane online store when it launches on July 1. Michael has set up the competition on Facebook, and you can go to this page to pick any 3 of the 5 outfits shown below. The outfit that gets the most votes overall will become the YLF pick.

If you participate, you stand the chance of winning a $200 gift voucher that you can use in the new store.

My vote is for the Tie Top outfit (second photo). It incorporates a variety of pieces that could be worn by a variety of ages/shapes, and I think it’s the most distinctive look of the five.

Aw. I don’t have a facebook account and I don’ care to get one. Can’t they make it open to all?

For what it’s worth, my favorite one is the Tie-top outfit, Top row center.

I don’t have a facebook account but would vote for the black dress, the simplicity makes such a strong statement and embodies all I love about the brand.

I picked them! for once I was glad I have a facebook account. Not surprising but the black dress is my favorite. Can’t wait to try it!

I like outfits 1, 3 and 4. #1 looks like something I could wear on weekends during the day or evening depending on what footwear I select, also the drape of the fabric reminds me of a number of designs I see right now making it “current and on the edge for me.” I like #3 for the intereresting hemline which is a fresh spin on a dress. And #4 for the pretty patterend skirt and showcase of separates.

No facebook for me either, but I’d pick 1, 3 and 4. #1 seems very fresh and current to me, very on trend, and at the same time something I’d try out. #3 is another version of the KK dresses I’ve been drawn to this season ~ I just love that asymmetrical hem, so breezy, while the whole look is a streamlined, unfussy silhouette. #4 showcases Karen Kane’s strengths as a brand with timeless yet current pieces that can become wardrobe basics and workhorses. Will you believe me when I say I have a Karen Kane floral skirt that is very similar to the one in #4? The colors and pattern are different, but the style is just about the same. My KK skirt is over 10 years old (I can’t remember exactly when I got it), yet I just wore it last weekend.
