Thank you so much Firecracker! I didn't put your screen name and real name together until I read your post on the gift thread. I do love birds! I wore the necklace and earrings yesterday to my mother's family Christmas and I got a lot of compliments on them.

I was Susie's secret santa. She had posted that she wanted a pair of black studs on elfster, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with that. I'm not near the jewelry maker Firecracker is, so I figured etsy was a good way for me to go. I'm so glad she likes them.

I'm so glad to hear that you love it, Sally. And no worries about the drama.. that just made it a good challenge, and ended up being all the more fun! I had just hoped it wouldn't make it less fun to get something from your own backyard instead of across the world...

I was Alysha's Santa. She had mentioned that she likes gold and keeps a journal so I found a blank book at Anthro with a pretty metallic design. She also said she likes chocolate so I HAD to include that. Finally, the dish with an A was just too cute to not add!

Thank you for the lovely gift, Lisa. I appreciate he inspiration and I think both pieces were so fun. I will try to incorporate them into an outfit soon (I've been sick home from work, so mostly in PJs).

Thank you so much for the beautiful necklace. I know I made it very hard for you as I haven't been very active and I've only posted once. I haven't made a wish list for such a long time. It was fun to pick out things.

Michelle!!! It was me!!! I am so sorry I have been absent from the forum for several days -- family etc. -- but I am so glad you like the necklace. I knew I wanted to get you jewelry and I loved the versatility and shimmer of that piece. It seems understated but it has legs: you can really work it. I hope you enjoy it.
