Welcome to YLF Picture perfect challenge, Summer 2011 Edition

Time for a new challenge. If you are new to YLF, or haven’t participated before, here is a link to our previous challenge:
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ake-thread

Rules:
- The challenge will run between August 15-19 (that’s next week people!)
- Each day you will wear, photograph and post on the forum an outfit inspired by a famous photograph. You can be inspired by the colors, or the mood of the photograph. Anything about it that strikes your fancy and tickles your imagination.
- We will decide on one photograph for each day and everyone will use this picture as an inspiration.
- I will start a new thread each day for you to post that day's outfit.
- You can do all 5 days, or just participate for one day. No pressure!
- I will try to describe each artwork to the best of my ability.

What is the purpose of the challenge?
- The first rule of YLF: Have fun with fashion!
- But also: come up with new combinations, learn to draw inspiration from unorthodox sources, widen our imagination, see how different members interpret the same visual sources differently, etc.

Last time, we were inspired by famous paintings. This time we will tackle photography. Like last time, I gathered below world’s 10 most expensive photographs. (I removed some PG paintings, not because they are uninspiring, but because I didn’t want random pervs accidentally stumble upon Angie’s website. If you want to see the top 10, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L.....hotographs )

You can vote for UP TO 5 paintings. Please vote once and don’t change it. (Makes it easier for me to count!) You have from today until Friday (August 12) to vote. I will tally the votes and announce the schedule late Friday night. ( if not, on Sunday).

As usual, you can vote for pictures even if you’re not planning to participate but I hope that you all do. And please bump this thread as needed.
I am looking forward to it! Yay!
