So, Diane and I had a lovely day out in Birmingham yesterday. It was part of a sewing meet up (SewBrum) that Di has joined. We had a fantastic time! Lots of time to catch up and chat about dressmaking and fashion.
We went to a couple of fabric stores and markets. I bought some beautiful fabric, deep green / grey and a Very Easy Vogue pattern for a jacket, and Liberty flowery fabric for a possible sleeve turn up. I think it will be a casual jacket to wear with jeans at the weekend. Di has filled me with confidence and top tips on how to tackle this project.
I was wearing my Isabel Marrant dress from Brighton, and Di beautiful jeans and top (made by Di of course!).
