I love those first three outfits too:) I see Suz has suggested what I was going to say - just try stuff on. Especially stuff you can't afford to buy. IMO there is nothing like it for finding out what works for you, what you LOVE & best of all it gives you a standard by which to judge everything.

The red shoes are great as is your your aspirational photo. That look is totally doable for you imo - those proportions would be just fantastic on you.

Wow Anne! You have done a stellar job there! Love outfits 1-3! Just beautiful ... No wonder you love them too! I also think the Angie pick sweater would look gorgeous on you. As for shoes ..... Comfort first! ..... I can't wait to see what you come up with for Sunee.

Great job. I see why you like the first three. You look really good in them. I love #6, I think it is my favorite. And the red shoes are wonderful.

Anne, I have to agree. I think you know yourself very well and are seeing clearly (if only I was so clear myself!). I really love you in #1 + 2 and think you are ultra hip in your shortened dress.

Wow... What a great way to see what works for you... And it all does! You look wonderful in the outfits. You have a lovely figure, and you have the prettiest comfortable shoes I have seen! Great job on his challenge (and great challenge, Anne!).

Great job Anne! I love you in dresses, you wear them to perfection. Number 7 is such a nice pic if you. You had a lot of homework and you completed it in record time, I say you get an A+!
The red shoes are fabulous, they'll be so fun to wear:-)

Anne your analysis is great: #1-3 affirm your slim curves; you have a range of practical clothes; and you are building and idea of where you will go next with your style, your main constraints being feet and heat.
The red shoes are super!
I hope you manage to nab the perfect winter jumper early.

Anne, great job! I like your favorite outfits too! Your analysis seems to be right on track. As I think Sue said, "You know yourself" and seem to make really well thought out choices when you do add something to your wardrobe. These challenges are fun to read!

Anne you look great in all the photos. I love the red shoes. The pleated skirt would look so good on you. I have noticed pleated skirts are in the shops now so perhaps you will find something that fits all your requirements

Wow, Anne - that was a tough challenge and you did a great job with it. I think you are doing pretty well in the shoe dep't for someone with limited choices - the blue ones are pretty awesome. Great job!

Anne-- thanks so much for taking me up on the challenge-- I think you did a lovely job. I too enjoy your most figure-flattering looks, and also the orange dress. I understand the fussy feet and budget issues for sure and your inspiration photos are things that you could definitely fit into your style when it is time to shop and wear them again. While you are much smaller stature, I think Sveta has a similar "pear with strong shoulders" body type, should you ever want YLF-er figure flattery inspiration.

Congrats on success and can't wait to see what you come up with for sunee!

Thanks for all the lovely responses. Suz - a half day might be a bit hard to manage, - but I could do a "Shiny" and check out one shop thoroughly in one lunchbreak. There are actually lots of high end shops near where I work that I have not been game enough to enter (yet!)

Elly - you are right - Sveta is a similar build to me. I have some similarities with Mo and Suz too, (we are all around the same height).

I wanted to say that while I am in a SYC stage at the moment, that I have bought a reasonable amount in the last year and am pretty happy with what I have. Sure, that blue colour block dress isn't quite so thrilling when I have worn it every single week ! - but I think I am in that stage of wardrobe development where I can quickly and easily pull out an outfit and it will be a flattering colour, fit and if not at the cutting edge, not out of date. And then I can just forget about it for the rest of the day.

Your shoes are impressive especially for comfort shoes! I adore cute flats, and yours are especially lovely.

Your analysis was also fun to read. I like these colors on you a lot, so it made me smile that you feel like there is some consistency there.

Great job, Anne. You look terrific. xo

Great job Anne! I love the shoes in #8.

More love for the first three looks- home runs for sure! Your faves are some of my favorites on you. You look especially slender in the all black work outfit. Well done, anne!

Nice job! I do agree that the first three pics really make you look slim yet curvy--always a nice combination. :^) You look stunning in sleeveless tops and dresses!

I know what you mean about being limited in your aspirations. Even if you have the money, sometimes just finding the proper fit is hard. By the time I find something that fits properly, I have run out of steam and am not even excited about following the aspiration anymore! Argh.

I think the shoes you have posted look cute. I would never have guessed that they were comfort shoes. You did a great job finding some fashion-forward shoes in what was I'm sure a very limited selection.

You look fantastic! You completed your challenge to perfection.
