I well my friend is in the hospital. I mentioned her briefly on.a WIW post Meosha Thomas. She is a wounded warrior the only surviving member of a road side bomb in Iraq .
Well she suffered the injury that almost took her life at 23 now she is 33. Damn wars. Excuse me for cursing but I'm really mad right now. I'm Working AND Will NOT Be Able To get HER Until THIS afternoon. She is currently in the ER at 5:14 a.m. the Red Cross is honoring her for her service and sacrifice with a breakfast award ceremony 7 this am.
She will not be able to receive this award. Her mother and daughter will be accepting it in her place. She has dedicated her entire life to helping Female wounded warriors. Which is her chosen field. She tirelessly works non stop with little to no.personal income of her own. Women who have faced Combat like me and still suffer . Women who have not made the transition to civilian life that easily.
She runs 2 nonprofit charities That 100% of the proceeds go to assist women Veterans in dire straights. I'm so sad That I Vent About NOT Being IN A Photo shoot AND they have to cut her ballgown.off and shoes off.
Please if you pray hold her Meosha Thomas in prayer along with her mother and daughters. They just lost there great grandmother and buried her last week. Hhhhhhhhmmmmmm
