Quirky Delight - I feel a rap coming on Lilypup *has* updated for spring...

#1 - The everyday blue and white gingham
#2 - The winter holiday season's red and green plaid
#3 - Spring 2015: red, white, and blue plaid

You can't see her sweater because she ran away and left it behind...

Firecracker - I'm overdue for a hair cut. But the last time, I got more layers cut in, for a little more curl.

Throwing in today's Black and White outfit. Because I planned for Stevie Nicks, this is what I got instead. This is for AM, speaking of preppy and WASP roots:

#4 - Old Ralph Lauren dress dug out of mother's basement, with black batwing-y sweater
#5 - Without sweater

I used to wear this evenings, out in the West Indies, with patent mules. It has a skinny belt which I just now remember. Used to swan around in it with Chantelle the Poodle at cocktail hour. Ironed of course.

It's 70 degrees F today!

your descriptions are the best and truest

#1 I really like. It looks both comfy and insouciant, also I'm a believer in white laces adding to the overall white detail in an outfit

#2 great overall silhouette and neutral pairing and I love the dress

#8 I like all of this, although are the shoulders poufy? or is it a camera thing that is throwing me a little.

#10 you are wearing a jacket because that baby blue is great with burgundy of course

#11 AWESOME!

The RL dress with the white sneaks and leggings is SO lovely and quirky. I think the sweater works too.

Rachylou, it's delightful to read your descriptions and see your creative and unexpected outfits. I wish I could meet you IRL.

oh, Lillypup! Too cute. I also like your black and white dress outfit, with and without the cardigan. That cardigan looks like a cocoon-style shrug I made--i like how it covers the arms and drapes, without obscuring the lines of the dress.

What fun to look at your outfits and read your descriptions, Rachylou! Besides the fab outfits others have mentioned, I love #3, even if you did don it only for the trail boots. The shirt is gorgeous, and your legs look SO long and shapely in this outfit.

You could write descriptions for clothing catalogs. Who could resist some of these?

Thanks for the styles and smiles.

You have turned my disappointment of a day (I have pink eye and feel so unfortunate looking) into a good day. The description Career Hippie Mom is just too excellent. It leaves room to wonder if she's more the Career Mom or the Career Hippie.

I LOVE the dotty skirt in #1! And the red flats outfit in #7 comes in at a close second. These are all fab and super fun!

OMG what a treat! The descriptions and the pics are great. If I had to narrow down one outfit as a favourite it would be the first one. But they are all FAB. And I love those gold pants.

White sneakers for the win, and do tell Lilypup that I love her Spring Refresh. Gingham and tomato red are trending big time.

Yes! I forgot to say... I have absorbed the white sneaker idea and manifested finally!

Omg. Lilypup is way more on trend than me. She looks at me and tells me she's Fabulous and gives me the look that says *I'm too cool for you.* All the time! All the time!

Thanks for the prop-ups, marshallow peeps (Peeps time is coming y'all realise.)

rabbit - Uh, I think you're right! I think I did wear the jacket because light blue and burgundy is cool, and an on the list of Angie ensembles to do.

Denise - I totally wondered that myself: Career Mom or Career Hippie. Lol!

Firecracker - I must remember "cocoon"...

This is a great post to come home to! Hooray! I'm loving the Stevie Nicks vibe.

"This is for AM, speaking of preppy and WASP roots" -- Okay, you've totally clarified how I would look like Holly Hobby in some of your looks. Where you look totally cool. You know what this means don't you??

It's along the lines of I had to dress like an ostrich to look cool...
I may need to take razor blades to my closet to have an ounce of edge...

Love your pup. Love your sun. Love the white sneaks.
Thanks for thinking of me!

Hay- you and your pooch are stars- Lilypup is just reflecting back YOUR Fabulousness!!

OMG these are so fun! Love #1 and #11 the best!

I adore #2. And I think #10 would be fun if it was a light denim jacket for some reason. Like others #1 is good too.

I didn't read the comments, but loved nr 1! Plonk for Rachy in some artsy-dotsy-minnie-mousey-totally cute outfit:-))

I am sooooo tired tonight, but I was looking for a bit of YLF fun before lights out --- and I was rewarded by the fabulous frenzy of fashion in every pic.

Some forum members woo me with their understatement and restraint, but you make creative vibrant looks totally your own -- and I feel like trying every one of them -- but one. I cannot wear the Stevie Nicks dress. It looks like a mezzo-soprano costume, and I can't have that. Only soprano wear for me. Fortunately, gold pants are a soprano specialty!

(Very fond of #1 and the apron dress, btw)

Oh my goodness! I freaking love the quirkiness and uniqueness of your outfits! It is perfect. I think outfits 8, 9 and 11 are my favorites. I totally wish I was kewl enough to be in Hipsterville with you!

Gold pants for the win! I'm bummed because it says pic #1 has been removed for some reason. I want to see Ballerina Bag Lady!

What! Hopefully pic #1 is fixed now. This is my only place for my pics. I'm always having a computer disaster...

Jen you can start your own Hipsterville by turning your bedroom into a tofu sausage factory... NYT says so. They sent a reporter to Brooklyn... Hehe.

I love them all but my inner goth is especially jealous of the Stevie Nicks dress.

Love! 1 and 5 are my favorites. Love the new one too woth the floral dress.

So - I too love every single one of your outfits - because in every one your style shines through. A big win on the white dress and white shoes and lil pup is one fashionable doggie.

Can't pick a fav cause I love them all!! thank you for posting and brightening my day

more lilypup love

what? marshmallow season approaches...thanks for the reminder

thanks for the visuals of the west indies and the poodle. You look fun and fab!

Love your eclectic and fun style. You are a hoot too! Lilypup is adorable

Inner goths beware!

ETA: Pictures of the bar (in WASP world, it's all about the bar) and Chantal. Right. Am very bad at spelling the poodle's name. My dad built the bar. He was pretty talented in the carpentry department, I think.

Oh, rachylou I love your descriptions and your spunk!!!! Is #5 a jumpsuit??!!! Too cool! And gold pants?! You are leading the 70s revival single-handedly!

Rachylou, I just love your writing, and I love ALL of your fab, fun looks here. Thank you And Lilypup is adorable.
