Debuted the new gold Jeffrey Campbell Coolridge slingbacks for fancy Sunday brunch today. This mod dress+white jacket combo was one of the first outfits I considered for the London ceremony, but it was ultimately decided to be too casual for that event. I really liked the combo so I figured today was a good opportunity. If you saw my realtime post this morning you might have seen that I was considering wearing some funky ombre tights but ultimately I decided that they were too much and that nude hose were better. (Also, you can't see it here but the jacket actually has a blushy nude ruffle at the bottom back hem, so I think it's best with "bare" legs.) The shoes did well on their first outing (quite comfy, although I'm not sure I'd want to wear them to walk long distances) and I got complimented on them.
