Thank you all so much for your comments and good wishes - I do feel better now even if still tire quicker that usual.
Beth Ann, maybe we should swap those dresses?
Neel, I also think that low contrast belt will work better with the dress there. Unfortunately this dress cannot be worn without a belt of some kind...
Aquamarin, this is what I thought too - black boots with white skinnies are too harsh but Angie's outfit convinced me otherwise. I think that bookending the boots and the top here is the key for the pairing to look natural.
Joy, I knoew you would like the yellow skirt one Rest assured, my black coat is hidden safely from my little rascal.
Karie and Rachylou, this Missoni for Target tunic is from 2011 so I doubt it is still in the stores: that collection literally disappeared in a couple of days. I own this tunic only because it did not work out for Jonesy so I was able to buy it from her. As for the slacks fitting: almost all of them are tailored for me, Karie. I think you are doing a wise thing with that class: a little tweak goes a long way to a great fit.
MuseumGal, unfortunately I cannot wear this cranberry dress without a topper because the neckline is not flattering on me (what I was thinking when I bought it?!) Too bad, because it has sleeves and I could have worn it easily on its own if not for the neckline
Lisa, I did not notice any dye rub from my Blondo boots at all.
Angie, it is always an honor to acquire a Killer rating from you I hear you on the dresses and tunics trending now but I think they are different now, no? I would love to see a post on the topic!
Suz, I do wear this navy boxy t-neck with baggier trousers with semi tuck but not with skinnies: somehow the proportions do not look right with the skinnies on me. I think it is because I have wider hips and heavier bottom part thatn you - I need to balance them out with more length.
DV, the cobalt outfit is with navy, not black - and thank you for loving my B-day bag!:-)
Denise, I was trying to understand which detail in the hem in #2 you mean? This boxy t-neck has hi-lo hemline with splits but nothing else...
