Orphan Day 13: if nothing else, I'm more fully utilizing my clothes, right?

Up today is a black turtleneck that is surprisingly un-versatile, and a dark red velvet cropped jacket.

I kept the turtleneck for it's potential of wearing under jackets like this one (or under sweaters), and I think it works okay under the jacket. But this is probably the only way I'll wear it - due to red stripe down the arms (The stripe says "Harley Davidson" in white on it, and it's fully a part of the sweater. I'm not opposed to motor cycles at all, but it makes this turtleneck much less versatile. There's a small Harley logo on the back too).

I don't think I like it enough to keep - my block cowl neck sweater with the bit of sparkle will serve just as well under a jacket and is much more versatile. (I think I'll try it under this jacket just to see if it fits - it isn't as streamlined as this one, I don't think).

As for the jacket - I'm not sure. I like the length, but it seems snug. Especially over this sweater. I can move fine in it - it just looks snug to me in the pic. What do you think?

I think the jacket looks snug from the back too. The colour is lovely though!

I would pass on the turtleneck too, I think your cowl neck looks much better, and, as you say, will fill the same niche.

Hah! Great job disguising the logo! You always look fab to me, Harley or not.

I agree the jacket's too small, but the color is great on you. Maybe you have or can find something else that color? I'd ditch the sweater since you have another option. If you got hot in this combo, you couldn't take off the jacket.

I think you need to find a better replacement for the jacket. I have a poison eye for t-necks so I'll refrain on that.

Yes... I think I agree with you that the HD sweater is probably not versatile enough to hold a spot in your closet because of the logo stripe, especially since you have another piece that better fills this position. Hmmm... the jacket does seem a tad too small and short. The cranberry hue is stunning on you, so I hope you will find other things in this color. Yeow! -- LOVE those sneakers!!!

I agree that the jacket is too small. I personally think that HD Tneck would be fun to wear casually. But I'm a black Tneck fan anyways. If you only want to wear it with the HD disguised you should probably pass and get a plain Tneck. Why have the hassle.

Personally I like the jacket and black turtleneck combo.
Have you thought about this outfit with black pants and shoes?
The snugness does not catch my eye. Jacket sleeves seem a tad too long.
