The last three days have a been a crazy whirlwind of one holiday event after another! I've been spending it with my fiance's family, and they take their Christmas VERY SERIOUSLY. So, there have been three parties, two church trips, plus various things at home like present opening, meals, and games. These are mostly not things I do very often or comfortably, so it was important to me to look and feel fab! I was overdressed for much of it but that does not bother me in the least.

12.24.11 - a nice Christmas eve lunch at home, followed by games/presents, church service, and Chinese banquet (in celebration of a new baby). This is my awesome Nanette Lepore skirt that I bought years ago and still love (it was probably my first real designer purchase and at the time I thought it was astronomically expensive even though it was on sale). The top is sparkly and the tights have a chevron pattern. Tights look black here, but in some lights they appear dark green. I prefer this outfit without the red cardigan but I was freezing most of the day so the cardi stayed on.

12.25.11 - more church, dim sum lunch, hanging out at the house, another Christmas party. I realized with this outfit that apparently I don't have any winter-appropriate high heeled shoes. Here I am wearing my tall platform clog booties, because I really needed some height to balance the proportions of the outfit.

12.26.11 - yet another Christmas party. The animal print sash is actually a new belt (there is a brown leather buckle) from Anthro that I turned backwards. I really liked this one although I was kind of cold! Plus a photo without shoes since the house is a no-shoes house so I actually ended up wearing the outfit without shoes most of the day.

Anyway, that was my crazy Christmas schedule! I am off to CA this evening for some rest and relaxation. Hope everyone is having a great holiday!

(outfit details in the reply, this is long enough already!)
