Autumn is here. In some ways it is the easiest time of year to dress for me, as the weather is much stabler than in spring (and probably nicer too). But I am a spring/summer person, and Fall does not have the Northern Hemisphere holidays here, so it is not my favourite time of the year.

Here are three looks, ending with a candid shot:)

Photo 1 Casual Friday - work from home, power through some Board reading at a local cafe, visit the supermarket, collecting son from camp, and then Tennis Club Champs. Very casual. The only new item is the long grey cardigan from Asos. I was relatively happy with this look for a casual day.

Photo 2 and 3 - My 14 year old was in a tennis tournament all weekend. I went to and from the tournament as it was close to home. The new piece is the ink/navy sweater which I am very happy with (from a local boutique). I am not happy with the jeans/shoes here. The jeans have lost their stretch and sag down as the day goes on. I tried short rolls and long cuffs and neither felt right. I love jeans but they don't seem to love me!! I think this pair are done for me now.

Photo 4 and 5 - A meeting at work, following by a lunch at a new restaurant with some lovely friends. This dress is also new (Witchery). It is very comfortable and will be worn with boots and tights shortly. I have also worn it with Mary Jane shoes. I got photo bombed by the 11 year old.

Photo 6 - Bonus pic of the 14 year old in the tennis tournament.

Your honest comments and feedback are welcomed - and jeans suggestions are also appreciated. Where am I going wrong?
