WIW and new mini tripod - YouLookFab Forum

I'm excited because I have wanted a mini tripod for my phone forever and I finally found one and it's great! I'm still figuring out he right height - I feel like at the current angle I look like a bit of a giant - but it's nice to be hands free.

Heading out for Indian and a little shopping at a place called Cargo tonight (housewares I think)? My daughter mostly likes to look. She's not a shopper, not a consumer. It's really eye opening and humbling to be with her. Love this little one.

I'm wearing my AG Jodi crops with the black CM sweater. At the last minute I threw on a bandana for some personality. I am also wearing Paul Green booties, so comfy!!! They meet the top of the cropped jeans but a gap will show when I stride because of the split hem. Also I must wear cashmere blend socks because of the damp, so there's that.

I like it -- and I need a tripod like that. I just broke a second too-tall one, largely due to trying to make it be short.

Looking great! I like the neckerchief with it, and it's so good to have boots you can have socks under and not really have it show with cropped pants (I'm hunting). The proportions and camera angle look good on you

It's interesting the AG crops were long on so many people! I don't usually think of my legs as long but it makes sense. I am only 5'5" but I am very short waisted, so I guess the length is all in my legs.

Rabbit, I agree about the socks with booties. With all the rain last night the socks were key. I do worry about socks stretching out the booties but I've decided that it's a risk I have to take. My old feet are demanding comfort.

Una, there is no remote on this tripod - there is a little ring so you could attach something to it, but also I wonder if that is to attach it to your keychain maybe? The tripod is super small when folded up. I use the app TimerCam which delays the shot on my phone's camera by 5 seconds. I have to run up and take each shot individually, which for now works for me because I don't really want to put a lot of time and effort into all of this. So 4-5 shots, taken individually, will work for me. The best part about using this little tripod is that it frees me to move to a space with the best lighting.

And the Indian food was vegan. It was really good, but we decided that ultimately it's better to go to a traditional Indian restaurant that can prepare its food vegan, than to go to a vegan place that makes Indian food.

Muffin, I am in love with Cargo! I wish I had a week to spend just in there. And a few thousand dollars. And a shipping container. LOL. They are having a Day of the Dead party on Sunday starting at 4. Devon and I may try to stop by if we have any time.
