Hi,

Well I have finally moved onto flat shoes after foot surgery (bunions). Yay! As I rambled on in this post I now have to replace my footwear collection. Ugh!

I decided to purchase 3 boots to tide me over during our winter months. And what a headache that was. Too many boots are too narrow or have too high a heel for my still healing foot. I lost track of trying on boots after about 30 different pairs. But I did (finally) find 3 winners for all the frustration.

Here are some recent outfits with the new footwear.

#1-Burgundy and Blue
I purchased these in black and brown. I've never heard of this brand before, but the shape of the toe box works for me. And after hunting for so long for boots that fit: my calves in width and height, and the shape of my foot (need a rounder toe box) and have a low heel I thought duplicating was the way to go for now.

#3-Looking Like a Tree
The new boots in brown. Green and brown remind me of mother nature.

#4-Going Nordic
I'm designating this as my "Christmas" sweater this year.

My third boot purchase, a pair of short boots for bootcut jeans. These are from Rockport and are waterproof. A nice bonus.

Thanks for looking!
