I can't argue with your reasons as much as I will miss your posts. I am so glad I had the chance to meet you in Seattle and send you my warmest wishes. I hope to meet you again!

Nothing is forever. Take care of yourself, Anna; it has been fun knowing you.

I will miss your posts so much. Your choices are inspiring, in fashion and more broadly. Wishing you all the best in your travels and time with your dad.

Sorry you can't see your way to being here part time, we will miss you.
Enjoy the time with your dad. Kindest thoughts, take care of yourself. Hope you have a great life Maybe a snap or two from Uluru??

My best wishes to you. You will be missed. Maybe when the time is right you can come to the forum once in a while.

Oh, I am feeling a bit teary!! Anna I will miss you here so much but I do think your reasons are sound. Hope you had a wonderful last night out at the cocktail party - you look fab. Do let me know if the Australian trip includes the West Coast as I'd love to meet!

I echo the others, that you will be so missed! But I do know that you will never regret spending this time with your dad. I would give anything to have had more time with mine.... What a gift you are giving to both of you! May you make memories that last forever.

Hi there, I hear you. Life has taken me in a different direction too. How do I find you in FB? Better yet, let me PM you my full name, would you look for me? Hope to meet you in person one day too. Best of luck to you

I've never met you in person, but you and your creativity are inspirational to me. You are beautiful inside and out.

Be well. Stay true to yourself always. Safe travels. Hope to see you back someday.

Anna, you are a true class act. With a whole lotta style!

Wishing you all the best on your journeys Anna... You never know what's waiting out there until you go out there and grab it.

Anna, I'm stunned and sad, reading your post. Your longing to spend this precious time with your dad really strikes home to me (also an only child). I hope to stay in touch and hope you'll be back here on the forum some, too. Best wishes!

Anna, I will miss you lots on the forum! You have an incredible fashion sense, and your whackadoodle outfits always brightened my day. As much as we'll miss you, spending time with your dad is more important. Best wishes to you.

I'll miss your presence here, and hope you'll post a photo of you and your dad in Australia, but this the right thing to do. Am visiting my own dad right now, and he seems much older and more frail than he did just a couple of months ago.

Good luck to you!

WHAT?? Yikes! I will miss your posts like crazy but I will be seeing you on Facebook for sure!

I have to say that getting to meet you and hug you and hang out with you was absolutely one of the very best parts of SSIF!! You are as awesome in person as you are online! And I was SO THRILLED to see the cherry fascinator live and in person! You are so fab, inside and out, and I am honored to count you as a friend!! Mwah!! <3

P.S. I am totally in love with Seattle and I will definitely be back!

Anna, our shared tears today speak louder than my words in this comment. You know how I feel. I know how you feel.

You will be sorely missed in this community, and know that you are always welcome on YLF. Pop in when you feel like it - and cut back when it feels like it's too much. I love that you've chosen to prioritize your Dad, and wish you many more beautiful memories together. You are blessed to have each other.

I won't say goodbye. See you soon. Much love. xo

Wow- I was hoping the swan song referred to the cocktail party or some end of the weekend event. I understand shifting focus and appreciate you filling us in on your exit and current priorities.

Your contributions have added much to my experience of the forum and knowledge of fashion. You are appreciated and will be deeply missed. Pop in when it works for you, perhaps with some photos of your destinations.

All the best with everything that lies ahead.

Anna,
I'm so happy I got to meet you in person at SSIF! Wish we could have had more time together. And so bummed I missed the cherry headpiece--you look stunning in it! I will really miss seeing your super stylish, fashion forward, and one of a kind wackadoodle outfits. Good luck with your dad and your travels--sounds like you've got great adventures in store! I hope after you get back you'll pop in from time to time...you'll always be welcome here! I'll PM you so we can keep in touch via FB in the meantime.
Love, Natalie

Well, I just got home from a horribly epic 12 hour travel day back from Seattle and now reading this has made me all the more miserable.

At the cocktail party, I noticed your eyes looked watery, but I assumed you might have been having an allergic reaction to pet hair or something. Now, I'm kicking myself for not asking you about it.

I'm very sad for your absence here, but I find you all the more endearing for taking care of your dad and wanting to make awesome memories with him. You are beautiful both inside and out, Anna. I'm so glad I went to this meet-up and got to see you again. You did a great job with organizing lunch at the oyster place and now I have a new chocolate desire...Theo's!!

When I turned around at Ann's house and there you were in your DVF dress with the amazing cherry headpiece, I just had to gasp and smile big time! That's what I appreciate about you, Anna...unexpected visual delights and laughter.

Thank you so much for all your contributions this weekend. Thank you for your friendship here on the forum and in person. Maybe send a pic or two of your travels in Off Topic?

Godspeed Anna!

XOXO

Why am I teary reading this? I only know you through the forum and haven't met you in person ever! But you are surely one of those posters whose WIWs I wait to open :). You will be missed. And I will wait for an Anna post .... Whenever that is

Have a fantastic travel time with your dad. You are a wonderful daughter :). God bless!

Anna, this makes me sad and happy in the same time. Sad because YLF won't be the same without you, your trendy , fun and provocative outfits and your posts and coments. Happy because I was able to meet you this weekend and got to know you a little bit better . Thank you for sharing this swan song day with me today, for fun shopping together, for teaching me to eat first oyster ever! I will miss you but I understand completely why you made this decision.
I wish you all hapiness in the world! Enjoy spending time with your Dad and friends, enjoy seeing a bit of the world and please come back here when you are ready. I will miss you!

Wow, I am stunned and saddened for selfish reasons. It just won't be the same around here without you. I look forward to opening your posts and have learned so much from you. You bring fashion to a new level and have an amazing way of finding such killer pieces for you and for others on the forum. Your new travel adventures sound like the adventure of a lifetime. How wonderful to spend this time with your dad. Maybe send us a travel pic here and there. Best wishes and we will see you soon (I am with Angie and not saying goodbye). Hugs you sweet lady

Anna, it's my deepest wish that in time to come you'll see that whatever did not wok out in the past was the best for you, so you could do what you wanted to do with your Father. It's a rare privilege to be in position to create memories with a parent at this stage of both of your lives. The determination and heart with which you are taking this next step in your life is no surprising. I'll miss you so much and wait for your next post. And every time I pass the Nuremberg Opera I'll keep thinking "What would Anna wear?"

Anna - life takes us in so many directions. I will miss your amazing presence on the forum!! But I wish you the very best in everything!! You have so many amazing plans in the works - travel safe, be well and may life gift you with every unexpected delight and happiness!! Hugs and wishes for safe and amazing journeys!! Enjoy every moment with your dad!!

What a sad post to read early this morning! I will miss your presence here but understand and respect your priorities. There is never enough time with the ones we love on this earth...enjoy the time with your Dad and I hope you check in with the forum occasionally.

Anna, my blue leather puffer twin, I will miss your posts and comments. You have such confidence in your fashion choices that you inspire others to break out of their self-imposed mold.

I wish you well and hope you are able to experience everything you plan and much more that you haven't even thought to plan.

Good luck. I hope you stop back in once in a while to shake us out of our complacency and share your fabness.

Best wishes and happy travels. As others have said, you will be missed. Missed for your unique outfits, fashion knowledge and sense, and direct feedback! I hope this decision takes your life where you want it to go!

You will be missed. Enjoy the new focus of your life. As the great Auntie Mame said
"Life is a banquet and most poor fools are starving to death"
Go enjoy your banquet!

Dear Anna, this humble semi-lurker will miss your posts too. You are a sassy, lovely lady and your outfits always filled me with surprise, delight and awe. But you are lucky to have this opportunity to travel and spend time with family and very smart to seize it. Enjoy!

OMG Anna! I was flying back home and full of jet lag to see this post till now and of course I couldn't get to the cocktail party to say a proper goodbye. I'm so glad I got to hug you in person, even though I didn't get to really chat to you. Your reasons for a change of tack are very understandable and valid, and you are a very loving daughter to your dear dad. I know you will stay fab, and good luck and enjoy your travels.
