I am having lots of fun with my trio of new sneakers! This week I wore all three pairs to work with "normal" outfits. Definitely got lots of comments about the dresses with matching sneakers--a novelty around here, for sure! They think I'm starting a new trend! Just call me Sporty Spice!

I pulled out a new orange purse that I initially had thought was too sporty for work, but now it's perfect with the sneakers! And I got a new Fitbit to track my running/activity, so naturally I had to get the accessory wristband set in different colors and wore the orange one to match the purse! Also, matching dragonfly necklace and dragonfly bracelet. As you know, I really love matchy matchy repeating elements in my outfits, be it colors or patterns or motifs. Maybe it's a little bookending OCD, but I really like symmetry!

I went for a long overdue haircut, and big hair confession--I also colored my hair for the first time! I was getting lots of grays...too many to keep plucking. She kept my natural hair color but used a semi-permanent dye to turn the gray hairs into golden highlights. I was so nervous because I had never colored my hair before, but it came out really well and my hair seemed very soft and shiny afterward, not dry or frizzy at all. Best of all, no one noticed or commented at all--not even my husband! At first I was surprised, but then I realized the best compliment is that it looks so natural no one even notices!

DH and I went out for dinner to celebrate our 15th anniversary (because he was on call for our actual anniversary), so I just swapped out the sneakers and orange purse for a jeweled clutch and heels.
