I felt pretty good in this outfit originally but now I don't know so much. I'm not sure what I think of the nude microfishnets (although they don't make my legs look like the hideous peach color they're coming out as in these photos, don't worry). They just feel like regular frumpy nude hose to me, honestly. Also, are the shoes too clunky without black stockings? That's why I asked yesterday if they could be worn with bare legs.

You look great, Tricia! I love everything about your outfit and I don't think you look frumpy at all in the nude fishnets! I think they are an excellent option for Spring. I don't know about you, but I can't wait for warmer weather and to be able go without stockings!

I like your outfit too- I think I like it better sans the jacket. You know, I'm wondering if you would feel better with sheer black hose or black fishnets. if you're wearing hose anyway, black would give you a undisturbed line from your skirt to your shoes. that may be why you feel the black shoes are looking clunky. And it may be getting close to time to set your black skirt aside for a softer alternative for spring.

Tricia, I love the outfit with and without the jacket. I haven't worn my nude fishnets for the same reason. I feel frumpy in them, too! I *want* to like them! :o)

Thanks! Queenie, I have a red pencil skirt on its way and I also have a stone/cream colored one. I also have a black linen-blend skirt for spring that's a bit more A-line, that I almost wore - this one is ponte knit and getting too heavy - but it was too big in the waist (woo hoo, lost baby weight!) so it went on the tailor pile.

Tricia, would you mind sharing with me where you found a red pencil skirt? I just cannot seem to find one I like, and it's not like I've seen any viable options so far.

Sarah found one at Spiegel for me the other day when I asked about wearing one with this top. They have a few options that come in red:

I love this outfit. What an amazing blouse. Also, I hear you on the fishnets. I think they look great in person, but photograph kind of weird.
