WIW 12/15: My version of the sparkly tank outfit for a holiday brunch

I loved Angie's layered sparkly tank ensemble and couldn't wait to bust it out for today's holiday ladies' brunch featuring a fun gift exchange! I have fallen in love with all the looks featuring plaid this year, and I felt like my new red plaid flannel shirt was nicely in keeping with the season, and also a nice change from the near-universal red holiday sweaters on the other attendees.

Red plaid shirt: Old Navy
Black sequin tank: JC Penney

High heeled sandal booties: Payless

It was beautifully warm today (mid-70s!) so I got to show my sparkly red pedicure in my old favorite sandal booties!

Sandals in December and a red pedi, I am envious. (The last pedi I got was with you!!!! Wearing socks is my form of a "cure" for my feet in the winter.) Great job here, I give you an A+. And it's nice to see those jeans look so good on you.

MK!!!!! Great minds think alike - I too, paired a sparkly tank with a flannel shirt today - and felt fabulous! Since I didn't get a pic taken of it today, I'll recreate the outfit and take a pic and post tomorrow. I love your outfit - and that seam going down the front of the legs on the jeans really lengthens your legs! Love it that you could wear sandals (I did too!) - so fun in Dec., isn't it? Just a super fun outfit. (The only thing that put a damper on the outfit is that nasty green colored jacket.)

Oh, I love this! Looking at you with the jacket on, I am very much aware of the difference in our climates. In my world, the 70s are considered summer temps. I would be a sweaty mess if I wore that jacket during the day when the temps were in the 70s

Sarah, alas! The tank is from several years ago. I actually got it from eBay and it was only after I got it that I realized the "Worthington" brand was a JC Penney house brand! As Angie says, "leave no retail stone unturned!"
