white jeans decision + WIW: denim squared (update added at end)

It's a white jeans kind of day for me.

I received the Kut from the Kloth white skinnies and white boyfriend jeans, and I'm comparing them with the white AG Stilts I got last week , which received lots of approval here. I would love your opinions on the comparison here, as I try to decide which ones to keep.
1-2: AG Stilts
3-4: Kut skinnies
5-6: Kut Catherine BF

Today I tried Angie's denim on denim formula from last week: blue denim shirt, white jeans, a contrast belt, and girly shoes. I left off the bib necklace.

7-8: White jeans (NYDJ, Barbara bootcut), denim shirt Caslon), metallic floral belt (Fossil), metallic sling-back Mary Janes (Fidji), pink crystal earrings (Dabby Reid)

Thanks for looking. I will eagerly await your wise advice on the straight/skinny ones! Other feedback is welcome, too, of course.

I think I like the Kut ones - both the BF and the Skinnies. The AG ones look tight on the calf but the Kut ones don't.

Love your outfit formula anyhow, whichever permutation of denim you choose!

Love 1&2 and 5&6 I like rolled, I also love the boot cuts in 7&8. 3/4 does nothing for me. I really like the chambray/ white jean combo. I'll have to copy that

They are all so close it's more how you feel in them, what your budget allows etc... The AGs are quite slim (and flattering) if that's what you're going for. The Kut skinnies will likely stretch with wear but are equally as flattering (not as perky in the rear pockets though). The waist on the Kut Catherine's seems to cut in a bit - is that comfortable?
I'm noone to tell you that you don't need all of them if you like them. I just unpacked my summer box to find 4 more pairs (and I have 4 pairs out for all season) in varying lengths and slouchiness.

I like the combination of white jeans and chambray shirt with the belt. I'm not sure which pair of jeans though. They all look good on you, just in different ways. I think it's a matter of personal preference.

jjsloane, as for how they feel, I'm torn. I think I like the feel of the boyfriends the best. They don't cut in at all; I think they're a slightly lower rise than the skinnies, and that's a plus for me. The AGs feel tighter all over (including the calf, as Ceit notes), but not uncomfortably so, and I like the fabric of them.

It's so hard to decide!

Should I try to find the AGs in a size up??

Very hard decision when you look so good in jeans, but I would go for the bf's, just because I prefer the slightly looser fit. The outfit is terrific!

You look good in each and every one of these. If you are going for some variety, I'd say the AG skinnies and the Kut BFs to round out your white jean capsule (with the bootcuts). But the BFs should only be worn rolled. I don't think they are long enough to wear down.

Fabulous outfit, too! I have worn my own version of the exact same look, with my Kut Diana skinnies!

Hmmm. I like the BFs, but I'd want to wear them down, too. So maybe the AGs are leading. I may go try on the AGs in a size up; it looks like they're available at a store near me.

You look KILLER in #7!!

I vote size up in the BFs, and keep the KUT skinnies. Three pairs of white jeans for a Seattle climate is a very good thing! But it you're only after two pairs, let's reassess both KUTS when you get the size up.

Angie, we posted at the same time. OK, sounds good--I'll see if I can find the BFs in a size up and keep the Kut skinnies, too. That's about the same price overall as the AGs, so I'd be happy with that solution. I really want a pair of full-length ones, but I like the BF idea, too.

The outcome. . .
I went to a different Nordstrom, tried on the AG Stilts in the next size up (as well as the Kut Catherine BFs in a size up). The sales associate would practically not let me get the Kut BFs in the bigger size. They looked just right, but I know she was right that they would have stretched enough to look less than just right. I loved the AGs in the next size, and I came home with just that pair. I'll probably wear them tomorrow and post them.

Here are the AG Stilts in a size up. I have left the tags on for now, but am pretty sure I'll keep these. I left all the others behind at the store.

1-2: for comparison, with a blue-white striated tee, nude/tan belt, and neutral spectator heeled oxfords (Fidji)
3-4: how I'm wearing them today: blue-white tee (made by me), navy lace hoody (made by me), metallic belt with a little bling and studs (Calvin Klein), metallic flats (AGL), mixed-metals charm necklace and silver twisted hoop earrings
5-6: another outfit I tried on with the jeans: floral silk georgette blouse (made by me), nude/tan belt (Nordstrom), neutral spectator heeled oxfords (Fidji)

I like these jeans a lot better in the size up. While I don't see a lot of difference in the photos, they feel the way I want them to, and this is the look I wanted--pretty much like my skinny/straight blue jeans, sleek and super versatile.
