Which size/style Equipment blouse? [updated]

After being unconvinced by folks' success in washing the Nexx silk blouse, I decided to carve a hole out of my NAS budget (farewell, burgundy blazer! Adios, gold leggings!) and try an Equipment blouse.

As usual, goals for my tops are modern classic, mostly casual (but can be dressed up a little), and don't draw attention to my bust or shoulders. Do ANY of the following 3 blouses fit those goals? Please be honest; this will be a pretty big purchase for me! I know folks here are enamoured of the Equipment Signature -- and fellow-IT Una completely rocks hers -- but those oversized pockets make me lean a little towards the one-pocket Brett.

Photos 1 & 2 are the "Brett" style in S; photos 3 & 4 are the "Brett" in M (I'd have to alter the sleeves); photos 5 & 6 are the "Signature" in XS. Please ignore the colors; the racks were pretty picked over when I arrived, but the Nordies SA assures me that there are plenty of the "Nature White" and "Opal Grey" colors that I'm interested in.

I like the Brett in 3 / 4. The style is oversized and flowy, so 1 / 2 looks a little fitted to me. Also, since you want to de-emphasize your bust, the close fit doesn't seem in line with your style goal. The pockets on 5 / 6 sag oddly. I think that may be because the shirt is too fitted. Since it is supposed to be oversized, it clings where it shouldn't. I'd try it in a larger size and see if that takes care of the problem. If it doesn't, I'd pass on 5 / 6.

I agree with KCS. I tried the Brett too and found the cut a little too fitted for me, but I think it works well on you in 3/4. I'm an XS in the Signature style and find it just roomy enough, and size also varies in color for some reason.

I love the signature style. Is my favorite equipment blouse.

Also, It looks as if the Nexx withstands dry cleaning. My experience seems to be the cleaner's fault.

Zap: I agree, the Nexx issue was your cleaner's fault, but aren't they supposed to be the professionals? I'm worried that the Nexx is made out of silk that's trickier-than-normal to launder, even for the pros.

#3 looks best to me. I like the signature, too, but since you said one of your goals is not to draw attention to the chest, my vote is for 3.

I'd either go up a size in the Brett or go with the signature, as you have on. I love it on you and find it flattering on you. Honest!

I like #5 and #6 best by far. That said, I'd also like to see a size up.

I kind of think this blouse needs to be well.. Blousy. I like the larger size and maybe a larger size on 5-6 also (scrunch the sleeves of course).

Awwww, you ladies are awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback, and please keep it coming! This is my first attempt at a "blousy" top (I tend towards structure and showing off my waist), so I totally don't have an eye for this look.

Plus I think that print is adorable Are you thinking print or solid? Either way that's the right size to get the Signature look. Well, IHMO anyway. . .

Thanks everybody! It sounds like the Signature is the winner, in a small. That's great, since there are more color options in that style :). I'm looking for a soft, solid color: a cream, a gray, a soft green, etc.

Una -- thanks for the pointer, you look SO. GREAT. in those shirts. I would be lying if I didn't admit that you're one of the reasons I went straight for the Equipment instead of shopping around for another brand.
